Excellent. The room was fabulous, spacious and clean. Shower very refreshing with lovely soft towels. All the staff were professional and friendly. The bar terrace was perfect on a warm afternoon and the meal in the restaurant was delicious. Already booked again for our return journey.

Would highly recommend but please note that the restaurant is not open on Sundays and there is hardly any food available nearby on that day. Luckily we found a pizza van - Nick’s near Chateauroux- delicious but long wait. Despite that I’d stay again without doubt.

This is the second time we have stayed at Relais St Jaques. Lovely modern hotel with friendly helpful staff, good facilities, such a comfy bed with air con. Much needed with temps of 33C. We wi stay again.

Mixed experience
Reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Bar area was a bit chilly but restaurant was warm. Food excellent as always. We didn't like the fact that the waiter had us sign the bill whilst we were eating our dessert. He said it was to avoid customers leaving the restaurant before checking the bill was correct but this is unacceptable behaviour. I complained to the waiter and the reception staff. The latter apologised and reduced our bar bill as compensation.

An excellent stop-over on a return trip from UK with the added advantage of a first class restaurant. One small negative- we took breakfast at 9 o’clock and the choice was limited as most had gone to earlier risers.

Booked at last minute. Don’t be put off by the location just off dual carriageway and in what looks like an industrial park. The hotel was quiet and food wad excellent !

The perfect stop over for the long journey North.
This is the perfect stop over for a long drive to Calais from the south of France. We have used it a couple of times and I can highly recommend it. Quiet, easy to find and really friendly. This time as we arrived a local historic car club had just arrived for a meal. Says it all really, if they use it as a restaurant that has to be a positive. Also, they take dogs. The only very small point to notice is that there are no USB charging points for your phone in the rooms so remember to take a plug. Other than that, the perfect stop over just off the motorway if that is what you need.

In these COVID days, the hotel has arranged things well. Rooms and public areas spotless. Where necessary tables separated by clear screen. Dinner was excellent. Good wine list. Nespresso coffee maker and kettle in room. Room described as Garden view but that rather overstates reality. Near motorway and airport but very quiet.

We'll stay here again
It was absolutely lovely - very comfortable and the dogs were welcome throughout the hotel. We will definitely stay here again on our journey south

Much more than just a stop-over motel.
Was expecting a comfortable, functional stop-over motel but exceeded expectations with nice bar and terrace and an excellent restaurant.

Modern hotel completely revamped 3 years ago
Took a bit of finding as the Sat Nav said we had arrived when the hotel was still about a mile down the road. But we had a lovely room and a fabulous meal in the restaurant..

Brilliant stop
Relais St Jacques is so convenient for the autoroute, in fact it can be seen from the autoroute but it is not noisy. Plenty of parking and a warm welcome at Reception. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good showers. The restaurant is exceptional and we had a fantastic meal. Only complaint is the very slow service in the bar - it was the same last year so it was not just a one off due to the large group.

Superb experience. Very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff very attentive, but not overly so. Our dinner and breakfast were superb, and reasonably priced. We will stay there again.

Great hotel to stop for the night
We arrived late at night just as the restaurant was closing. The staff were very accommodating and managed to cook us a meal which was very good. Perfect place to stop for the night on a road trip.

Good hotel
Good hotel in a good location for a stopover on my way down south. Room was clean and comfortable and was nice to have tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was good too. Tom tom sent me in completely the wrong direction so print off the map from the hotel.

Good Hotel would visit again
Not too far from the A20 motorway so very convenient. Staff spoke English which was useful as my French is not great. Room was very comfortable, there was a bug in the room which we were not sure where it came from but apart from that everything was good. Breakfast was amazing and we appreciated the hotel was able to start breakfast for us and some other guests at 6am instead of the normal 7am. Would certainly visit again.

Excellent break in the middle of nowhere
We stopped here going from and coming to Brussels on our trip to Sourthern France/Northern Spain. What a lucky find. It may also have the best restaurant around for dinner and a good free breakfast, as well

induge yourself at Le Relais St Jaques
A very good stop off for anyone travelling south, or north, with need to journey. This hotel has been recently refurbished and offers a high degree of comfort and service. On top of that the restaurant experience was second to none. It advertises itself as gastronomic and it certainly was. Don't be put off by the proximity of airport. Very little commercial traffic, used mainly for pilot training and maintenance. Also for those Tesla owners there are 6 high speed charging points, a sure sign of things to come. Top dollar stay.

C'est certainement pour cette raison que vous avez réservé au Relais Saint Jacques en profitant d'un tarif très préférentiel (remise de 30 %). Il parait donc normal que notre établissement offre une belle prestation de restaurant allant avec la qualité de l'hôtel. De plus, vous nous avez mal noté alors que vous n'avez pas mangé chez nous. Vous ne pouvez donc pas savoir si nos tarifs sont adaptés à la qualité de nos prestations.Cordialement,
