Small quaint place to stay Owners are on site. Quiet, easy walk to the church and restaurants The full breakfast was fantastic. Fresh strawberries. The best I've ever tasted. Will defintely stay here again. Highly recommend

Must stay! Centered between Saint James Church, Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain. Walking distance. Owner Niko arranged transport to and from Dubrovnik. Was a wonderful guide with very good English. I recommend the yummy breakfast for 7 euro. Very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again.

Worthy of repeating
Prior to our stay, the owners reached out via email asking if we needed anything special during our stay. They arranged for our transfers to and from Sarajevo airport. We were greeted by the owners upon our arrival at Villa Flowers, and showed to our rooms- just like the photos. The entire Villa is meticulously clean. It sits on a field in a peaceful setting, just a short walk from the Main Street. There are walking paths that lead to St James, one to Apparition Hill and another to Cross Mountain. Easy access to everything. There was a generous variety of food at breakfast. There was a table with fresh juice, water and cookies available all day. We were there for Christmas when all the restaurants were closed. The owners provided so much food for us that day, including some unusual local specialties. During our stay my daughter fell and hurt her ankle (while hiking). It was swollen and bruised that we thought it could have been broken. Niko (the owner) drove us to a local man known for his ability to fix these types of injuries and after a few days, she was walking normally. The owners really took great care of us. Life really slowed down for us and we appreciated the simplicity of the rooms and life with no televisions. By the end of the trip 5 out of 6 of our group wanted to stay longer. I guess we will just have to return.

Fabulous Experience
We traveled as a family group of three couples, booked 3 rooms at Villa Flowers, a lovely hotel in Medjugorje. The property is very well located, about halfway between Apparition Hill and St. James Church. Our host, Niko, and his lovely wife, Jelena, did everything possible to make us all feel comfortable, welcomed, and appreciated. The hotel is a well-appointed, immaculately well-maintained, 3-year-old hotel. We were served delicious meals each day! We will definitely return to Villa Flowers on our next Medjugorje visit.

Newer hotel with awesome owners
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Villa Flowers in Medjugorje. It was outside of town and very peaceful, yet within walking distance to downtown. The owners were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean and bright with a nice shower and comfy bed. (We were on the third floor, so if stairs are an issue--ask for a lower floor as there isn't an elevator. The breakfast was abundant and the homemade berry jam was delicious! The price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

We stayed 7 days bed and breakfast. The Expedia website advertised : free bottled water, shuttle service, daily housekeeping and Televisions in all rooms. All of those were missing! Be prepared to make your bed daily. As we complained about lack of room service, bins were emptied 3 times in 7 days but bed sheets not changed. Breakfast was excellent, good variety of tea and meats, eggs, bread. Showers were good and air conditioning working well. I would not recommend staying here if you do not have a car. We booked there due to the shuttle service which didn’t even exist! After complaining to Expedia an amicable reimbursement was agreed by the Guest House manager and us for the inconvenience incurred. This place I feel is still in its development stage. There are no telephones in the rooms, there is no reception for help or support. There were days when there were no staff around after 8pm, so in an emergency getting help would be a problem. There was biscuits, fluids and fruit on offer for guests in the dining room to help themselves throughout the day.

Nice but needs more work on service and direction!
It was difficult to find because there was no sign ..hotel is nice but front desk not finished seems like work in progress. We expected fresh towels every day but it was not true and we guess that was not to be expected. We were told breakfast was made anytime by the owner but that was not true.also this hotel was not in 10 minute walking distance from St. James church according to the ad we read. Decor is matching to its name

Lovely friendly people
It was a sad time visiting Medjugorje as I had just lost my mom but we had a lovely time. Yallana was really welcoming & couldn't do enough for us. Hotel was spotless & a great location as all attractions such as Church & Apparrition Hill were within 10 minutes walk. Would definitely stay at Hotel Flowers again. Thank you.

Excellent place to stay
It was our first time traveling to Medjugorje and we were worry how we were going to get from Dubrovnik to Medjugorje. Niko, the owner of the hotel told us he could get us and take us back, he provided us with a good rate for the transportation. Our stay in there was pleasant, it's very clean and quiet. Highly recommended, we stayed there for a week and our towels were changed and our trash taken out.

Impeccable hotel close to St. James Church
Just returned from Medjugorje. This pansion is situated in the middle of open fields/vineyards plus a great view of Apparition Hill. I can imagine this place to be a beautiful location in the Summer when the vineyards are in full bloom. It's around 7 mins walking to St. James Church and about 15-20 mins to Apparition Hill. There is a short pathoff the main street, to the pansion, that is very dark when daylight is over. So make sure you bring a flashlight. We had breakfast included in our package. It was diverse as well as generous. This pansion is super clean. It's walls and floors are pretty much all white so it really highlights the cleanliness! It is very new (built in 2015). The bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers.Housekeeping was done daily. The owners are young and aim to please. Since I went during the winter months it was very quite inside the pansion and outside! It was my first time visiting Medjugorje. If it is your first time, go between March and October when the weather is warmer; unless you are responding to a special invitation from Our Lady. It was a beautiful experience. I will definitely return again!

My wife and I had a perfect 3 night stay here. The breakfast put out was outstanding. Our 2 hosts were very friendly and charming. They also had insight to the prayer groups and apparitions. We will be staying here again.

Excellent Hotel
Our Stay at the Villa Flowers was wonderful! The hospitality is exceptional and Niko and his wife are wonderful people. From the first day, they treated us like family and really added to the experience of the trip. The Hotel is away from all the tourist shops so you can enjoy peace and quiet. The hotel is also very central in the town, only a 10 minute walk to the church and every other major stop. Niko was very helpful in every situation and we plan on going back for next year.

Good value hotel
The hotel is only a year old and is in great, new condition. We were picked up in Dubrovnik and returned there by the hotel owner. It comes with breakfast and is a really good deal. Although not far from the center of everything it was a little hard for us to find at night, especially since there is another hotel with a similar name. Only negative comment would be that the trash was not picked up from our room in 4 days and the towels were checked only once.

A very cozy hotel, immaculately clean and comfortable. Niko and Jelena are lovely, attentive and responsive. We felt very welcomed. Excellent hosts. Although we arrived very early in the morning, they let us do the check-in earlier. There was a table with fresh juice, water and cookies available all day. Visti gli standard italiani farebbero fatica a competere con la pensione Maria a Rimini. Ma in Bosnia è quasi lusso. L'albergo è nuovo camere ben arredate con aria condizionata, ma spartani. Colazione da dimenticare. Pagamento solo per contanti, ma è un paese di trogloditi? Carte di credito/debito non si possono usare bonifici assolutamente no, ma hanno paura di pagare le tasse? Prossima volta albergo meno conveniente ma con ricevuta su carta intestata e possibilità di pagamenti sicuri con credit card.

Siamo tristi se qualcosa è andato storto e ci dispiace veramente. Mi dispiace per la carta di credito - il terminale è stato rotto, ma cerchiamo di dare il meglio del nostro hotel. Ti abbiamo servito colazione italiana, ti abbiamo chiesto forse se volete qualcos'altro ... ti sembrava essere soddisfatto. Mi dispiace ancora una volta!

Very hospitable owners and very nice hotel!
We arrived at 1a.m in the morning due to traffic from Germany. Nico the owner reassured us on the phone that it would be fine. He is very nice. His wife prepared our breakfast the next morning and gave us information about Medjugorje. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We were allowed to leave our car parked there even though we had already checked out. This was helpful. We were also allowed to leave some perishables in the hotel even though we had already checked out while we walked around town. After Apparition Hill we walked back and got the things and then drove off to Croatia. We would definitely stay at Villa Flowers when we come back to Medjugorje. We have already told others from our church about the hotel.

Endroit paisible...
Un peu en retrait de la rue principale donc, très paisible... on peut tout faire à pied. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et attentifs à nos besoins; on se sent comme faisant partie d'une même famille. Beau décor et très propre. Prêtes à renouveler l'expérience!
