Once you get pass the unprofessional, disrespectful staff at the front desk it gets better. No fresh towels for 5 days so i went and bought some. Breakfast food was old. The coffee was alright but the orange was very tart.
Overall this is a nice hotel being suites. The one i had was very clean with a woking kitchenette full size too. There’s also restaurants and shopping in the general vicinity. I will stay there again.
We booked room for a basketball tournament. Several teammates were planning on staying however did not as their rooms had holes in walls stains on bed and carpet and bugs in the shower and had an odor in there room. Our room had several stains on carpet and trim coming off wall however no other issues. It was Memorial Day weekend and the pool was not opened ! We stayed for two nights. The couch sofa was extremely uncomfortable. The room was roomy and shower pressure good !
Bathrooms were filthy. Toilet not scrubbed and there was a film on the bottom of the toilet bowl. Electric door card reader was hit or miss to work. There were loud parties in the parking lot until 4am in the morning.

Stayed at the hotel for my niece graduation from Miami of Ohio in Oxford. I was very disappointed at the weekend staff mainly a younger lady who worked the front desk she was very rude and seemed annoyed at everything. The most disappointing piece of this stay was the accommodation for payments. I asked several times before I arrived if it was okay to change my payment to another credit card or cash at check out and I was told yes. Once it was stone to check out this same young lady I spoke of early told me I couldn’t even though I told her when I checked in someone told me I could and she just nodded. The hotel it self was average needs updating the couch and chair was very old and the carpet was also. If it’s updated it will be a nice place to visit with the exception of that young lady.

Kitchen had no pots, pans or baking dishes. I was informed that guests were responsible for supplying their own cookware. Coarse, kinky black hair on the walls and floor.

The rooms furniture and carpeting was filthy. Upon checking in had to change room twice because air conditioning wasn't working.

Paid $180 for a suite that was less than average. The pullout couch pad was dirty with stains and smelled of urine. Front desk didn’t have any clean blankets. I observed a blanket and sheet hanging outside on the railing in the direct sunlight. Sliding screen was broke off the track.

Went to the room and within five minutes found multiple hairs in the bed and bathroom. When we pulled the sheets off the bed a large dead bug fell onto the floor. My wife left the room, got in the car and had a breakout for the stress of the room. We ended up moving to a Holiday inn 21 minutes away.

There were party’s , fighting , drunk kids throwing bottles everywhere at other people, they had guns one had a gun to a women’s head as she’s screaming to shoot her, it’s unsafe and not okay the staff and police did not help whatsoever

The room smelled terrible like cigarettes or burnt food, carpet felt dirty/sticky, there were large groups of people yelling in the parking lot and racing cars past the parking lot all hours of the night - unsafe environment. The cops were present on the property several times both in Friday and Saturday. We had no wash cloths but attendant at desk was nice and gave me a couple. Tried to get complimentary breakfast during breakfast hours in Sunday and there wasn't any. I do not typically complain but I would not recommend this place to anyone. We will not be back.

I really enjoyed the room. It was nice and spacious, we had a really good stay. The only problem we had was the water temperature. The shower never got for me and the sink was too hot. Other than that, the room was great.

There was mold growing out of two vents and the one by the bed also had mold on ceiling room 611 . We noticed that there were no wash cloths in the room. Assuming it was just an oversight I went to the front desk to ask for some and was told by management that there were no wash cloths but they have ordered some. Nice… so we had to use a pot holder as a wash cloth.

I will never go back! The only positive is the lady with the Jamaican accent at the front desk. She was super nice and helpful. Clearly they dont have someone to check if the rooms are really cleaned and stocked because I had to go to the front to get stuff for the room along with having to go back and let her know the room wasnt up to par by far. Along with that, the down stairs toilet was not flushing and there were 5 ppl in this suite so we were down to 1 toilet. I will never ever go back and strongly recommend for you to pass on Sonesta West unless you are looking for something raggedy and dirty! If that is what you are looking for, well come on down to Sonesta West!

This property has an 8 star review. Lies! The staff was rude. The room has dust & spider webs everywhere. The garbage disposal, ceiling fan, phone, & dishwasher, didn’t work! The stairs were covered with snow. I have a shoe boot and was afraid. Pictures are deceiving. Don’t stay here.

very bad experience
this place was loaded with people just out in the parking areas partying that didn't have rooms there was nowhere for us to park until about 45 min. after we checked in. the front desk girls were very nice but had to call the police to clear out the parking lot a lot of people in their rooms were complaining about excessive noise from all these young kids in rooms partying and being extremely loud. probably will never chose this hotel again. also couldn't get into the first room they gave us the key card worked but the door would not unlock. so from the time we arrived to the time we got into our room total time over an hr and 15 min.

when we first arrived, we didn’t even have bath towels. I asked for them and we never received them. We never had housekeeping service either. Somebody’s car was going off at 11 PM until 3 AM. They didn’t do nothing about it. People are outside fighting right next to my room and tried breaking in. People are very extremely rude there.. the bedding was dirty

The people sharing the building were loud and disruptive in to the late hours of the night. Music was being played until 3 am and shouting and stomping from upstairs didn't stop at all.
