We stayed in a first-floor unit on the Bealey Avenue frontage. Traffic noise and street lighting were disturbing. Double glazing and adequate blinds and curtains would fix this problem.

Property was very convenient with a variety of places to eat and drink close by. An easy walkable distance, 15mins, to central shopping and dining, the food market is a must, every conceivable range of food is there, amazing. All of this was recommended by the owners who were so friendly and welcoming

Rose and Terry welcomed me were supportive as my flight was delayed and could not collect my hired car. In addition they supported me to locate an accommodation in my other destinations and provided advice. It makes travelling alone easier having great hosts. Thank you to both Rose and Terry

The staff here treated me incredibly nice and made my first experience visiting New Zealand a wonderful one. Friendly and efficient reception. Property is well located, but tired and we noted a few maintenance deficiencies. Cleanliness was not quite up to the standard we expected. 2 bedroom unit was roomy. Kitchen could do with an upgrade.

We were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble 😊. We organised a pickup from the railway station which was so convenient. The price reflected the dated decor however the rooms were a great size, well equipped, clean & tidy and the beds were comfortable. Laundry facilities were great and Sky Sport was available for the RWC semifinal along with a late checkout…thanks 👍. The location is only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Christchurch and this suited our needs perfectly. I look forward to visiting again.

Amazing Stay at Admiral. Felt like home.
Amazing stay at Admiral. Rose is such a sweetheart. Hotel was fabulous, comfortable, spacious, clean and well maintained. They even picked us from Airport and were so friendly. Felt like we knew each other from long time. Would definitely stay again when I come to Christchurch and will bring my mom and baby as well next time.

The room was very cold on arrival and it took the heater hours to warm the place up. There was only one extra blanket. Reception does not open until 9 am so it was too late to get the milk which was supposed to have been in the fridge but wasn't. I think this motel is used for long-term homeless people as we seemed to be the only overnight-guests.
