The hospitality was good. Certain provisions at least shampoo should be provided. The dining place was extremely crowded always with outsiders. Towels should be cleaner, there were stains observed. Behaviour of the people was extremely good and they were cooperative.
The hotel falters on the promise of providing rooms with direct view of Kanchanjunga. All one can see is the battered view of Darjeeling buildings. Not worth if you want unobstructive view of the mighty Kanchanjunga and Darjeeling.
Hot water supply is for limited time only.
Room service not available.
Overall OK experience.
This hotel has the best location perhaps in Darjeeling. The view from our room was wonderful. This hotel is perhaps being run as a guest house without any restaurant, only tea coffee is available. However, the location is so good that the moment you step out, you are in the market with everything available, including restaurants, bakeries, et al. The staff is very co-operative and would willingly get anything form the market, at beck and call.
Minimal and old type furniture are a bit disappointing.
Our room was a wee bit noisy since it is located on a busy street.
Very good value for money.
