Amazing Service and Great Rooms
This was one of the best hotel experiences we've had - and a reminder of why luxury hotels still provide the best service. We arrived really early in the morning (about 2am after a late flight) and were quickly shown to our room. The standard room was large, immaculate, and exceeded our expectations. But the real value came because my husband was sick - it turned out that he had a slight fever - and the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us. They sent up a thermometer and medical supplies in the middle of the night. The next day, they allowed us to check out late so that he could rest. Everyone here treated us like valued customers, and we were only staying one night and had no status with Marriott. It's an experience I won't soon forget, and I'm very impressed by the Westin brand.

This is a great hotel. Central location. Good for first time visitor.very clean food very good if you don't want to go out.

Comfortable stay
Hotel is located at a good location. Bed is very comfortable as many guests have mentioned. Although services from the staff were always prompt, I personally feel the staff could be more approachable and perhaps a smile could make guests to feel more welcome.

Good location and comfort bedding hotel
Very nice hotel and have an excellent view over looking the beautiful Chongqing city and river. Staffs are helpful and delicious buffet breakfast. Swimming facilities are perfect with sauna and steam room. Will visit again :)

A Good Experience
Service was up to par with the "Westin" name. Variety at breakfast satisfying and the dining area comfortably spacious. Had a pleasant stay. A good experience.

We stayed herein for 1 night, room is clean and modern, location is very convenient. Breakfast restaurant with great view and food is average. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

One of the best hotel I’ve stayed in! Staff are really helpful and friendly. Location wise is perfect, right in the middle of cbd with mrt just 5 mins walk away. 5 thumbs up 👍

I had a pleasant stay at the Hotel. Most of hotel staff were helpful and friendly. One suggestion is that the Hotel staff should read and answer the questions customer sent to them via the Expedia platform.

Good location. Nice view. Room is very good, bed is comfortable, except the fancy toilet is out of power. But it was fixed quickly after a call.

Highly recommended for overseas traveler.
The hotel location is really good, you can see the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River Cableway is walking distance from the hotel. Not to mention that it is also located near liberation square. The hotel's wifi can connect you to google and youtube so i am guessing this will be very favorable to overseas guests.

Nice location with friendly staff
The hotel is located at the very center of Chongqing, very close to the Liberation status and Yangtze River cable car. The staff is very well-trained and friendly. The hotel is properly maintained and looks still stylish. The facility is good, with B&O TV and automatic toilet. But I don't really get the point of the enflamed Hermés scarfs everywhere. The down side of this hotel is that the room is relatively small. I booked the Deluxe room but it doesn't look like it's 495 square feet. Weird thing is that the Deluxe room is cheaper than the executive room, which is only 388 sqft. I guess they assigned me the smaller one. I would book other room types next time. Last thing, the check-in staff said he would accumulate this stay into my SPG account but I didn't receive it. But it wasn't a big deal. Would definitely recommend this hotel, but do not book the basic room if you like spacious room.

Need better management with international partners
I ordered a king size room at US via Expedia( the official web of Westin Chongqing sold out king size room at that time), the reason I used Expedia instead of Westin official site is because I want a king size room, let alone the price difference between a king room and a double twin bed room(the hotel never gave me any price adjustment on the two room), when I checked in the front desk only gives me a double twin bed room without any compensation. Look! If you have international businesses partners, you need to make sure that information IS ACCURATE! We travel 18 hours to Chongqing and you tell me that the information on your business partners ' web is not correct, I got a few punishments for trying to book a king size room and you tell me you can not full fill the request, it's cheating! Its almost 2am when I checked in exhausted, have no energy to argue. I took the twin size bed room, but the experience first time with Westin Chongqing is not pleasant. At this time, I am still working with the Expedia on refund request, which is the extra with this business trip, Btw, I am an EPM working with Google.

Not worth it
Check in took forever and gave the wrong room. A relatively new hotel but room was not spacious and had signs of wear. Only good design was the toilet seat with water cleansing. Had dinner and breakfast in the buffet restaurant and both were so so.

The location of the hotel is central to all attractions and Chongqing Rail transit (CRT). The hotel staff are very attentive and friendly. Plenty of restaurants and places of interest. Very nice hotel to stay and we will be back again.

Nice Hotel to stay in ChongQing!
My mom and I stayed in this hotel for two nights. Everything is super good. The location is very convenient. It close to Liberation Square with many stores and 8.1 street with lots of local restaurant. Walking distant to HongYaDong. Hotel has a huge swimming pool, glass walking area which you can see the mountains, river and city. Room is modern design with nice toilet seat. We bought River tour ticket at $128/person which is more expensive than you can buy from locals. I prepare for this since everything suppose to be more expensive if you stay in the expensive hotel. Actually, except the ticket, everything else is relative affordable. Maybe we come in the low season. The hotel is only $145/night.

Very impressive room decoration and breakfast
Very impressed by Hermes scarf decoration in the room, even in the bathroom. Washlette Toilet is cool. Breakfast is SO awesome! Nice view from the room.

Worst hotel in Chonqing.
Worst hotel in Chingqing. No service, lobby filled with garbage, empty cans etc. Room was nice but once you leave the room don't even try to use amenities. No massages in the massage room. Stay away.
