Could be much better.
Ariived and waited ten minutes for someone to check me in. Then they couldn't initially find my reservation. The breakfast was not great the first day tea and a croissant that wasn't very good. Then the second day it was eggs and ham. Back to croissant for third day. The housekeeping was here are more towels and soap. Location is OK. Can get off bus 30 from bus and walk 5 minutes. Grocery store nearby. 15 minute walk to Mall Dova. Buses are inexpensive 2 or 3 per trip.

Great property within walking distance of the downtown area, parks and the train station (all within 15-20 minutes). Really good internet too.

Not a good place to stay
The hotel advertises that it has a restaurant, but the restaurant is closed. It advertises that it has an airport shuttle, but it doesn't. It has not place to park and is located on a narrow street. The buildings on each side are in bad condition. The rooms are on the second floor but there is no elevator, just a narrow stair way. The beds have old, spring mattresses and are not too comfortable. The only amenity in the rooms are small refrigerators and a small TV. There is a public WiFi but it is weak. The receptionists do not speak English. I would not recommend staying there unless prices is important.

Very Nice Cozy Hotel
Very nice cozy hotel with a very good location close to the heart and most visited part of the city, restaurants cathedral and beautiful park. Service was also very good and the staff was very accommodating especially Greogery and Nelly who both made sure everything was OK and to my satisfaction. Good breakfast and WIFI. I highly recommend.

It depends what are you looking for. I traveled for a business trip so I was looking for a decent and cheap room, comfortable and accessible to and from my meeting places and internet access. From this perspective, this hotel provides you with a comfortable and cost-effective room. The breakfast was the same each morning, so I would say this is an area needing improvement and diversification -- good coffee though, very nice and helpful front desk staff, a limited selection of TV channels, mainly in Russian, accessible location, close by a nice supermarket - supermaket Nr.1. If you are looking for luxoury accommodation, definitely this is not the place to go. If you need parking, this is not the place to go, but if you need a decent affordable room, than I would recommend to go for it, and keep your expectations at minimum.

Cheap accommodation in Chisinau
This cheap and cheerful accommodation is beset by problems. Despite advertising a restaurant, it was never open except for breakfast for the entire period of the stay (six nights). The rooms are small and cramped; the water pressure poor. Laundry took four days to be returned. On the other hand, the WiFi was good and the staff pleasant.

Prima Sojourn in Bella Donna accommodation.
Located in city beside public transport. Friendly staff. Good security with night porter. Very comfortable bed after a long delayed airline trip. Receptionist brewed a good strong cappuccino for me which I greatly appreciated. Nice breakfast of bacon, tomato. Omelette , bread, tea and yogurt . Pleasant stay definitely

Hotel was very good for the price. Breakfast was excellent, my only recommended improvement would be that over 4 days the room wasn't cleaned once, nor were towels replaced and toilet roll restocked.

From 3-star hotel I would expect shower/tub combination in the bathroom not just shower. Internet connection was free but very slow. The hotel service in general does not speak English. Only some of them could say barely a few sentences.

Hotel was ok. Room was spacious with 2 single beds pushed together to make a double, unfortunately the mattresses moved apart creating an uncomfortable space in the centre. The shower was fantastic and the bathroom was clean. The TV had almost 3000 channels, 90% of which have nothing on them, (1606 for the BBC news) The breakfast was an odd affair of a fried egg, 2 or 3 small slices each of cheese, tomato, cucumber and meat. There was a yoghurt and a cold pancake on the first morning, nothing extra on the 2nd and a small piece of swiss roll on the 3rd. the cafe was only open for drinks on my first night but there was a supermarket nearby. On check-in the staff did not have any small notes to give me my change and no effort was made over the next few days to remedy that, which is partly my fault as i did not raise the matter, the staff were generally helpful and friendly.

Highly recomended
The rooms are clean. The hotel seems new. Internet works perfectly. TV was not working in one room and they moved me to another room right away. Staff are knowledgeable in English. I was to check out at 6am and since breakfast was inclusive in my rate(very complete), they had prepared it for me to have it before the opening hours for this!!!. You just need to inform them. Taxi to the airport is between 60 and 70 Lei. About 15 to 20 minute walk to the center of Chisinau and marshutka terminal.

Nice hotel in calm area
The Bella Donna was overall a nice place to stay given its location and the service. Breakfast on Saturday morning was incredible by USA standards and the rooms were clean. Nothing to complain about here for this hotel.

Hotel Bella Donna is very close to the places you want to be in Chisinau..easy walking distance to the banks, shops, schools & Embassy's. It was a great check-in ! Both Elena's are lovely in character & physically at the Front Desk - asking questions on how to improve the hotel experience during my entire stay. During the complimentary breakfast, Iulia & staff prepare a great options table of cereal, meats, yogurt, breads , fruits & juices. I am not a typical breakfast eater, but i did eat breakfast most times because of the atsmosphere & quality of breakfast choices i received. The room is clean upon check-in but they failed to clean the room during my stay- not that i needed it to be cleaned, but would have been good to get the "extra" clean service! Heat works, but don't expect a very warm heating experience that some are accustomed to in the US. I like it very hot in winter, but could only achieve warm on full settings. Also..there is no parking at the Bella Donna, though it is available for only 15 lei 3 blocks walk away. Overall..this is a 4* hotel ..which can achieve 5* status with just some minor upgrades in room /tech service and parking.

Great value for the price! Clean and efficient!
I stayed here for one night (not even a full 24 hours) before my flight out of Chisinau. The hotel is not luxurious by any stretch, and it's in an obscure area not near any major attractions...but it was very clean and tidy and I have only good things to say about it. The room was small and simple but clean and efficient. The lady at the front desk spoke English and arranged a taxi to the airport for me at a great price. I wouldn't suggest to stay here for a whole week while on vacation with a group of people, but it's great for what it is (and the price!) especially for solo travelers or quick stays where luxury is not an expectation.

Awesome Hotel
I stayed here right after a 5 hour train ride from Odessa and was flying out to the US immediately in the morning. Showed up about 9 p.m. tired as ever, and the hotel clerk (Ana) was amazing. She was very helpful and understanding of me being a non-Romanian speaking tired individual, and helped me not only find my room but also arranged a couple taxis for me to complete errands around town. There is also a solid complimentary breakfast. I would definitely come back here.

Aside from the rooms door handle nearly falling off and the blocked shower drain, my stay was pleasant enough. The staff were friendly and helpful but slightly unorganised. The hotel is roughly 15 minutes walk from the centre, but is close to a supermarket and shopping mall.

Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel for a good price. Staff was friendly and spoke good enough English. Unfortunately it's a bit far from the city center. Also at the end of stay when checking out all kind of extras (dog, taxi, etc) which were agreed upon at arrival the amount had doubled! They where only small amounts, but still irritating.

Decent choice at a good price
Not perfect but not too bad either. The staff struggled a bit with English, but we managed, and they were very friendly and helpful othewise. The layout is very vertical, and there is no elevator, so be careful if you have trouble with stairs and steps. A young staff member actually carried our large suitcases up the two flights of stairs for us when we arrived. There is no parking, but we were able to park on the street just in front where the staff could keep watch over the car. The room was small and basic, but adequate, and the AC was a big plus (not all hotels have AC in Moldova). The breakfast was decent. The neighborhood was OK but nothing special. It's pretty convenient to the airport (i.e. on that side of town). I would consider staying there again, but I might review other options first.

I stayed 3 nights at Bella Donna. Best of it all was the staff at the reception. Extremely helpfull and spoke well english. Really put the customer in focus.The hotel is cozy and very close to the actual center of the city. I will recomend it to anyone!

Smell of smoke verywhere
The staff if nice, but even as i changed room three times(!) the smell for cigarette smoke was everywhere. Propably, the ventilation system from the restaurant/bar is somehow connected will all rooms. I would not recommend any other than a cigarette lover to stay here.

Not impressed with hotel...staff were great
The hotel and room was clean and the staff were very helpful. However: the hotel was not as listed on Expedia. There were several things that were suppoded to be in the room that were not there, like hair dryer, and mini bar! I would go back...not because of the hotel but because of the staff! I cannot say enough good words about the staff. They all spoke multiple languages and went out of their way to help you.

Interesting Hotel
The Bella Donna hotel turned out to be a fine hotel. I tend to like mid-range hotels that have character. This hotel fit the bill. I slept well and the Moldovian Russian staff was very good. The breakfast was good and there was a bar where I could try Moldovan wines. Compared to other hotels in Chisinau, the hotel was reasonable in price. I would stay there again.

No se puede pagar desde la página, ni con tarjeta en el hotel. Tuve que pagar con efectivo , al momento de pagar no tenía vuelto, me quedaron de d at al día siguiente ( lo cual no ocurrió). La persona no es la misma . No manejan el idioma inglés. Demasiado ruidoso. Lo pedí con desayuno, no estaban al tanto , tuvieron que ir a comprar y cocinar, perdí más de 1 hora. Algunos servicios del hotel no están disponible.

En blandet oplevelse
Vi har rejst meget og er ikke sarte, men det her var en noget blandet oplevelse. Rengøring under al kritik - nogle dage måtte vi selv bede om det. Morgenmaden var kedelig. Nogle gange manglede der f.eks. ost - værten sagde bare "njet", og dagen efter var der stadig ingen ost. Badeværelsesglassene blev overhovedet ikke vasket op, så ind imellem var det en "gør det selv" oplevelse.Engelskkundskaber hos personalet i receptionen var ikke altid optimale. Men sengene var komfortable, og selve placeringen af hotellet i var perfekt i forhold til byen.

Przyzwoity hotel w dobrej cenie
Krótki wyjazd, potrzebowałem w miarę taniego, ale przyzwoitego hotelu. Bella Donna spełnił te oczekiwania. To niewielki hotel, ale w miarę przytulny i dobrze prowadzony. Minusem są śniadania, które są serwowane na zamówienie i dopiero od ósmej. Pokoje czyste, z tv i internetem. Okolica dość ruchliwa. Ogólnie polecam na kilkudniowe pobyty..

Не надо здесь останавливаться.
Отель отказал предоставлении одного из двух номеров,которые ранее подтвердил по электронному бронированию,мотивируя переполненностью отеля.Однако,утром на завтраке вместо шведского стола была скудная яичница,т.к.шведский стол готовится от 5 человек и более.Такой нонсенс просонал объяснить не мог.

Good place, friendly staff!
Good location, close to the city center and to some of the city’s beautiful parks, walking distance to the train station and the central bus station. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I’d stay there again if I was going back to Chisinau.

Arrivé à l'hôtel, la chambre réservée (et confirmée quelque jours avant) avait été donnée à une autre personne. Nous nous sommes retrouvés à la rue le soir, sans autre excuses que "sorry" …. Un grand merci à l'hôtel Chisinau pour sa compréhension et son accueil
