Middle of nowhere. Hard to even walk on surrounding streets with no sidewalks. No ice machine on floor 4. No dinner available Monday. Room ok but nothing special. Tv is small and old and slow. Good shower!

Needs a Renovation
This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Had to move to another room because my 20 year old tv didn’t work, the bed in my new room had a divot from thousands of people sleeping on it, the furniture just looked worn and in need of replacement. The people were great. But everything looks old and worn out.

Dip In the Bed
The Hilton Garden Inn Addison is a nice place to stay. The place is very clean and the service is very friendly. But if you stay in room 227 and sleep in the bed on the left, watch out for the big dip in the upper half of the mattress. Laying on my back with all of the pillows was sort of OK. But trying to sleep on my stomach, I felt like I was hanging off of a cliff. After switching to a more diagonal position, it felt a little better. The mattress needs to be flipped, rotated and/or REPLACED. Also, the not included breakfast seemed a little expensive for what you are getting. At $14, the food seemed close to standard "included hotel fare". Go to IHOP a mile down the road for more choices at a lower cost.

We arrived to a room with no air conditioning. We thought it was just an overworked system so asked for a fan to assist in moving the air in the room. The fan helped but the AC never caught up. We had to have maintenance come in to reboot the compression in the system to get it operating. We had arrived early and although we had originally booked a King size bed with a Jacuzzi tub we were booked into a queen room with a standard bathroom. I understand that being part of a wedding group that you only alot so many rooms to their block available but why when we booked back in March were we down graded so much on checkin.

They were doing some renovations which are needed. It felt like I walked into 1995 in there. Would have liked to have seen some to-go breakfast options. There was nothing to grab and go. Water was hard to find and there were no great options to buy.

I had requested a handicapped accessible room, and verified at check in that it was. Before we left for dinner, my daughter checked and said there was no shower bench, because with my disability i cannot stand more than a minute. I asked at the desk for a bench to be sent to my room, and the guy working said he would. When i finally got ready for bed, there was no bench. Then i noticed the toilet is not the height to be ADA compliant, there were no grab bars anywhere in the bathroom, and if i was using my wheelchair, it would not fit in the bathroom all the way. I could see the room is accessible for the visually impaired, but not for me with my physical disability. And i know the guy at the desk knew i was using a walker. Also, the beds are as hard as rocks. Both my 22 year old daughter and i agreed on that.

It was a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood however the main reason for the stay was so our kids could swim and the adults could enjoy the hot tub. The pool was cold supposed to be heated which it clearly wasn't warm enough with it only being 22' degrees outside. Plus it definitely needed shocked the smell of chlorine was extremely strong. And the hot tub was not heated at all nor did the jets work. 😒 Very disappointing.

I paid for a jacuzzi tub and when I got there and used it the headrest was broken off and water sprayed everywhere and it was unusable. I told the front desk and they just said sorry. It's crap I paid for a jacuzzi and couldn't use it. The drain was also broken in the tub. I didn't get offered anything just got told sorry!
