Our room wasn’t ready after 3/00, until 3:50. The guy cleaning was really hustling to get it clean. It was nice staying here. The food was ok, but not real good.

The continental breakfast didn’t have anything else to drink but coffee which is sad since not everyone likes coffee. You could see that there was scrambled eggs but none there. Tables were dirty. Staff sitting in chairs in the little area for dining. The hallways were dirty. Looks like carpets need a cleaning.

The hall carpet terribly dirty and not an inch of it was the original color. The desk clerk had to go “check the room”to see if it was ready..we checked in at 7:30 pm. He was gone a good 10 minutes and our room was 4 doors down from the front desk. The baseboards, corners, and door jambs were black on white tile in the bathroom. They had not been wiped off in a long long time. We requested a handicapped room. It was not ADA compliant. It had a bathtub with 12” sides, pretty tough to negotiate when disabled. Yes, there was a shower chair in the spacious bathroom, but it was in the corner and would have had to be wrestled into the tub. I didn’t try to put it in, but the feet appeared too wide to land inside the tub. Yes, it had grab bars, but the one mounted behind the toilet was puzzling, there wasn’t one in the tub space, and the other one near the toilet wasn’t in a great position. The toilet itself was not a handicapped height, in fact, it was so low I needed to hold onto something to lower myself all the way down to the seat, except the grab bar wasn’t in a good position. The surrounding grounds were poorly cleaned up with trash, and very tall weeds near the building. There were derelict businesses sharing the parking lot and driveway making us wonder about leaving anything in our vehicle, or taking our dogs out during the night hours. The space set aside to walk the dogs was small, but there were pickup bags available. The breakfast was miserly and tepid.

The room was in good/decent shape and fairly clean. The hotel lobby and hallway flooring were dirty and needed upkeep. I was pleasantly surprised to find my room clean.
