"Was convenient to the temple. The room was passable but we didn't have any hot water (the water coming out of the hot water was lukewarm). We also requested towels and water 3 times before actually getting them."

"The location is excellent for temple visit, and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms have a musty/moldy smell, though linen was fresh and bathrooms were clean. There was sofa in the room which was very dirty, and I was worried there is mold! The room would have looked better and would have been more functional without the sofa! Less is more when it comes to furniture in a small hotel room - what is more important is cleanliness! I might not stay here again due to the cleanliness issue, though the staff and location were excellent. "

"Absolutely magical spot right on the banks of the legendary Periyar River and close to historically significant sites. If you want to spend your vacation in total relaxation (hammocks and ancient Indian massages with stunning views, delicious Kerala food and friendly fast service) this is the place for you. My frail 87 year old mother and I stayed here after a very long journey from the U.S. to rest up before heading on to our house a few hours away by car. The accommodating manager Justin booked our taxis and even arranged for a wheelchair. Akhil met us at the car with the chair at 3am when we got to the resort. Even at that late hour he was ready to bring us food—mummy actually asked for ice cream and got it! But it’s only after we woke up in our smartly designed room with a private patio that we realized how lucky we were. Shout out to the super staff Jeevan, Zachariah, the ladies in the kitchen, the cleaners, and the gardeners who are the heart of the place. Thank you all! "
