I must thank the staff for helping me switch to a non-smoking room. Thank you front desk! I booked the room without realizing I booked a smoking room. Everything in the room smelled awful, including the pillow. I got switched to a non-smoking room, and it was great! The room was spacious, and the amenities were great. It had a great restaurant and nice reception. It was in a convenient location for my trip.

Beware SGST, CGST, Service Charges
Hotel is charging SGST, CGST, Service Charge separately for each and every individual items and I don't see value for money. Marriott, TAJ, HaYatt, ITC comes with same cost. Food menu was awful as they had too many western items that too not prepared well and don't have any local items (chennai special) Looks like the hotel is run for foreigners but matter of fact their customers will be 70% Indians and less than 30% foreigners. All north Indian staffs are not very humble but would show their teeth to foreigners.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my parents. The hotel is nice and close to the Basant Nagar beach -- 100 Rs auto ride from the hotel. We ate at the inhouse restaurant. The staff were very coordinal. Particularly, Ankita really helped my parents to get food according to their dietary restrictions.

Booked a sea view room, got a view a a sewage stream. There isn’t a sea in sight. The rooms are old, everything - the carpets, the furniture, the walls have stains. The bathrooms make you feel like you are in 3rd world country. The restaurant is chaos and has no hygiene practice in place for Covid or simple hygiene practices.

The property is good and I understand that Covid did impact all of us but would like a little more attention to be paid to small repairs and maintenance (peeling wall paper, damp wall surfaces with peeling paint, etc.) Also would appreciate if inter connecting rooms are provided for a family (you will need to figure a way out to capture this while the booking is done)...I am yet to try the food (breakfast) and if there is anything will certainly post...else it's been a good experience.
