My husband and I stayed 3 days and used Lily’s Garden as base to go around PEI. The place was spotless. In addition, Lily maintains a very well equipped kitchen, with cutlery, pans, plates, cups, microwave, stove and other small appliances that makes for a convenient stay. The room had a silent air conditioning, which I highly appreciated. Additional features included washing machine and dryer and freshly brewed coffee in the morning and outdoor chairs to enjoy a nice coffee in the morning or to enjoy wine while sitting outside.

This property is in a residential neighborhood surrounded closely by single family homes. The neighbors hate this place and make that very, very clear if they see you or you see them. The internet service is slow and unreliable, and cell phone reception is limited. The outside lighting is very poor especially if you are coming at night or leaving early in the morning.

Breakfast was a dozen eggs in the fridge and a loaf of wonder bread. Kids cereal. Very noisy from other rooms . Tv was there but not hooked up to anything.Bed was a old bed very low to the floor should be thrown out . Have stayed in many B&Bs on the east coast and this was the worst.

Hi John, thanks for your review although we are so upset about the score. Our breakfast is free right now, cause some guests like cook eggs by themselves. And the TV has many online programs you can see. For the mattresses, we're waiting the new one coming. Hoping we have a chance to treat you again.

Property needed a little maintenance, o think there was a wasp nest at the backyard sitting area, several flying around. House was very noisy, could hear people in next room and floors were creepy. Bathrooms were private but ours was not in the room it was outside in the main area. More could have been offered in kitchen, no fruits or little snacks. Furniture was old and either had no springs or was creeping. Location was good, restaurants and stores were close. Parking may also be an issue if all rooms are occupied.

After we received your review, we double check the backyard and confirmed that there's no nest, so it's safe for our guests. For the snacks, we will check more time to keep enough. Furthermore, our style is the old fashion which many guests like it.

Walkway was unsafe particularly for elderly. Automatic Check-in required cell phone data service. Room was pleasant except no egress window.

Okay but could be better.
This place is very clean and the owners are great about letting you know where it is and where to park. I liked that they used large bottles of shampoo/conditioner instead of wasting plastic with the little bottles. However the bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows are awful. Luckily we brought our own pillows for an earlier part of our trip and were able to use those. You also need to be aware that you will hear the washer and dryer going throughout the night, people talking through the walls, and people walking on the floor above you. They say the room is soundproofed but they can’t guarantee it to be noiseless, I thought it would have been a litter better though. You should also know that the $5 breakfast is to cook it yourself. If you want them to cook you breakfast it’s $20. Also, if you are bringing bags with wheels make sure you can life and carry them for a while, there is no path to wheel luggage on to get into the B&B as you will have to walk through a mixture of grass and concrete squares. I wouldn’t recommend this is you use a cane/walker or have any mobility issues. I did appreciate the smart TV and mini fridge in our rooms and if it wasn’t raining we would have used the outdoor space.

Easy to find location w/ my gps, instructions were detailed. Owner and reviewers already prewarned about the imperfections of the place. Close to downtown. I was surprised my room had a frig and the pop and water inside were complimentary, which was nice. Kitchen was big.

Lily's garden is a little gem set in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and we had full use of the communal kitchen and cute eating area. The huge tv was another nice surprise, It's only minutes from the downtown area of Charlottetown

Over priced. No AC. Bathroom was private but separate from the bedroom. Very tiny and crowded room for 3 Guests. Polyester bedding. Uncomfortable bed and the sofa bed is kids size.

Hi, sorry you gave so lower rate! No AC and outside washroom already indicated on Expedia before you ordered, and the sofa bed is for adults, not only for kids, it's single bed size. Believe you compared the price then chose ours to stay. Wish you have a good trip, and choose the right place to stay!

Well it was hard to find, no sign or house number. The room was very small and there was no air conditioning, just a fan. It was very hard to sleep since it was very hot inside the room. They lack organization when it comes to self check-ins since somebody was in our room when we arrived...they didn't know which one was their room.... it was awkward to say the least!!

Buyer beware.The pics are misleading happy talk. There is no Lily. There is no garden. But there is fine print and pictures that don’t match.There is maybe a shrub in a nondescript backyard that you will struggle to find. It is a glorified, crowded basement Airbnb in the ‘burbs shared with multiple other guests with lace strewn about. No grand tree-lined entrance or adjacent park. The neighbors are super close & you park in a driveway. A dollhouse tiny room and our promised private bathroom wasn’t actually private – it is in the middle of the common area and open to anyone to use. They will deny it, but that is in line with their ‘no, you’re just wrong’ approach to customer service.Beware of the advanced ‘no-contact’ check-in – where you have no choice but to check in early and then when you get there and want to cancel they say ‘too late.’ Whether or not they issue a refund is all up to a mystery homeowner who sends nastygram emails and has your credit card information and can dictate whether they comply with their own policy.And good luck with Travelocity’s byzantine customer service on top of the ‘whoops, our connection was lost’ type of help. Happy ending is we found a much better hotel in a much more convenient spot with wonderful staff with a private bathroom for less money and we had a great time with the friendly people of PEI. I hope the same for you and I wish you general good fortune in your travel journeys, and hope that this property is not part of it.

There is no breakfast. Website indicates continental but we found nothing in the kitchen. The kitchen was underequipped and unkept. The "private" bathroom is private but located across the hall for at least two of the rooms. The registration process was cumbersome with numerous emails from the owner. Would have preferred one comprehensive email.

Please allow me to explain to you that we are registered with hospitality, not B&B(not all the B&B include breakfast, if they will include it, they will indicate it). and breakfast is not included in your room fee, we already indicated it on the website. Please check again. The toilet is outside and right next to your room. We signed the room and your private washroom picture before you check-in, and that private washroom only you can use. At the same time. We have all the necessary facilities in our kitchen and have been maintaining them, Just as the same as the picture of Expedia. Very disappointed. One of the bed frames were broken in our room. The beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were not great. The main house accommodations smelled terrible. I wouldn’t go back.

Belle maison de l'extérieur dans un beau quartier. Check in difficile par appli. Porte de salle de bain défectueuse et aucune intimité possible. Toilette montée sur un podium à trois marches difficile à utiliser la nuit. Meubles et décor de l'armée du salut. J'arrête là. Bonne chance!

Hi Marc, We're sorry you had a bad experience. Our check-in is very easy, just fill the form in the steps to get all the information, we also indicate the location of the property and your room. Your bathroom is inside of your room. We have checked that the door is in good condition. I wonder what you mean by the defect and no privacy? We must set steps for the toilet because it is a re-decoration, so we can only raise the ground to install the toilet. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. I hope you have a good trip.
