"Emeline is a very nice hotel, conveniently located to Charleston City Market, shopping, and restaurants. I liked everything about this hotel; however, our room on the first floor was very dark, with little lighting. We were located near the courtyard, and if we opened the curtains there were people sitting at the table right outside our window, so it was a little disconcerting that they could just peer directly into our room.
