We chose the hotel as we were touring France by train and the hotel waa right across the road from the station. Staff were excellent and helpful. Very good choice for breakfast to set us up for the day. We ate on a evening at the restaurant attached although believe it's a seperate business. Superb food so no need to leave the hotel on a wet night.

Great location across from the train station. Walkable area, close to the old city and attractions. Lots of restaurants around. Safe. Breakfast had lots of choices. Small guest bar in the lobby for quiet drink in the evening.

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. They made us feel truly welcome. Very nice hotel and very comfortable rooms. The air conditioning was a little weak but the temperature outside was not hot.

Hotel has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and is conveniently located with respect to the train station and the centre of Chambéry. The underground parking has a charging station for electric vehicles, which is free of charge. Only negative point: underground parking can be quite a challenge for larger cars.

Noisy room but not because of the street noise. Our room doors (there were 2 doors) were vibrating every time another client from the same level was entering or going out from this room. During all the 6 nights it was impossible to sleep before midnight and after 7h-7h30 when the cleaning lady was starting her work and was opening the window from the hall.

Next to train station, but budget hotel
Hotel was directly across from train station, which was convenient. My room was supposed to have a tub but didn’t, room was not that comfortable and the hotel definitely feels like a budget hotel, so not good value. Folks across the hall were loud and had a dog that barked. Not a great experience after an 8 hour train ride.... Very friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk though, which helped.

Everything you need, but a bit tired
This is a well-located hotel with friendly staff and the convenience of free, secure parking (note the underground car park is tiny and very tight). The breakfast was reasobable - nice to have local cheeses available! The room was fine , though pretty basic. Overall the hotel was pretty tired. Cracked tiles and broken shampoo dispenser in the bathroom, and in the breakfast room, most of the mugs were chipped.

El hotel esta ubicado en un lugar muy conveniente si viajas en tren. La estacion esta al cruzar la calle. Chambery es muy pequeño asi que todo queda bien para moverse caminando.

Friendly receptionist, clean hotel and room, comfy bed and good shower. Nice tea and coffee facilities in room, no complaints. Very easy to walk to from train station and bus station. Would stay again. No restaurant on site however, which is a shame if arriving late etc.

Average hotel for stopover, great restaurant
When we arrived, we were told we didn't have a room and that the hotel was full (despite having prepaid the room). The receptionist managed to get us one room, which was smelly (cigarette) and not super clean. We had a great experience at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Great food at a reasonable price, nice service and good central location. At the hotel, breakfast buffet was very ordinary.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English which was very nice. I think the hotel was going through some renovations so some parts seemed outdated but looked to be in the process of getting redone. My room was clean and nice.
