Hotels near Cerveny Klastor Monastery

Situation was excellent, but everything is close in town anyway. Room was huge, I certainly didnt reserve a spa suite which was kind of then to offer me, but the spa didnt work. Haha.. no big deal for me. There was a little "lost key" issue, but the staff were very friendly the whole time and even managed to have a laugh about it and give me a little cheek over it. There was a primary school staying while I was there and the teachers let the kids run wild through the hotel which was annoying but hey, kids will be kids. All up not a bad place, great for a couple nights, but if you want luxury, you'll pay an arm and a leg somewhere else.

This accommodation was terrific and excellent value for money. Were there for 4 nights. We had an upstairs attic-style room which was spacious and comfortable with a view of mountains. Breakfasts were large and personally served in the breakfast room, and Marek the host was a mine of information on what to see and do in the mountains and surrounding areas, given in English and German as well as the native Slovak. His love of the area was apparent. There are 2 restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.
