Loved the full kitchen suite. Great for grandparents hosting grandchildren. Couch was worn but room was very clean and kitchen was well maintained and equipped. Will definitely stay here again.

Property was pretty run down. Our room was not super clean and there was no shampoo in the shower. The bathroom floor had not been moped. You could still see footprint from previous guest on the floor.

I I’ll try somewhere else next time.
Lobby was very clean and updated. Room was dirty. Table had water rings on it. Bathroom floor, bathroom door and walls had quite a bit of dirt smudges/streaks/stains. Mirrors looked dusty and streaky. Complained about it and when it got cleaned a day later, it was better but not great and our beds weren’t made. If I ever stay in Cedar Rapids again, I’ll try somewhere else. Employees were very nice though!

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and accommodating. My only complaint lies in the comfort of the mattress. It was hard and not very comfortable. I prefer a softer mattress.

1st Time Stay at Homewood Suites
In town for a funeral. 1st time staying at Homewood Suites. Other family members stayed there also. Nice big room. Very quiet atmosphere. Good breakfast (thanks Miss Sue). Would definitely stay there again.

I've stayed there twice. Great location ! Only complaints the trash by the elevator was never emptied on the weekend and the conditioner pump in the shower ran out and they didn't fill it when I requested housekeeping. Overall a good place to stay and I will stay there next time

Great Stay
I had a great experience. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to give a shout out to Adam in maintenance who came immediately when I had an issue with my microwave, resolved the issue and is an all around wonderful human! Great breakfast choices.

The bed was on 2 by 4's and when you sat on the end of it the top would raise. The floor in the bathroom was a little dirty in the corners. But over all it was clean and worked out well.

We were not told the pool was closed when we checked in, didn’t find out until we were dressed and ready to swim. No housekeeping to bring clean towels the 2nd day, sheet on our bed was so stretched out that it wouldn’t stay on the mattress, 1 pod of dishwasher soap isn’t going to allow us to run the dishwasher more than once. Very disappointed in our stay for the amount of money spent on what I thought would be a quality motel.

Do not recommend. Service started bad at check in and remained consistent throughout 2 night stay. From being downgraded in room by hotel without any compensation to no linen service. Asked for towels and were told we were allowed 2, explained there were 3 people and housekeeping did not service room. Was told they would send housekeeping up. 45 min later still no towels. Was told by front desk they were gone and I could come and get 2 towels. Only reason we stayed 2nd night was because Expedia took care of us. We travel alot and unfortunately will not be back to this hotel.

Poorly maintained Homewood Suites
Our stay was disappointing due to multiple service and maintenance failures. At check-in, the desk clerk did not provide breakfast information or directions to the elevators. There was no lobby signage giving directions to the elevators, which were hidden from view; we walked down the wrong hallway before we eventually found them. When we got to our room, the living room area had no electricity, we asked for another room. The desk clerk brought us room keys and took us to the room. In that room, I couldn't connect to the internet after several tries, and verified the room location on the phone which was needed for login which said Rm 201 but was still unsuccessful. I went to call the front desk, & the phone handle was not plugged into the phone, nor was the phone itself plugged into the wall. There was no cord all. I finally walked out to the hallway and learned from the door signwe were actually in room 203, not 201 as stated on the phone. The bathroom was in poor maintenance condition. The closet had a mirrored door, half of which was broken and would not slide on the tracks. The plastic tracks were dirty and filled with dust. In the room with the tub and toilet, the clothing hook on the backside of the bathroom door was ripped off. There was a towel hook on the wall next to the tub which was ripped off the wall and hanging. We went to breakfast at 8:50, before 9 AM close, and there was no coffee or hot food. The server was not empatheic nor apologized.

Good place to stay!
Hotel was very clean, room was comfortable. Service was good. Only problem we had was with key card. We were give 2 cards, only one worked initially. We went out for the evening and when we returned our key card would not work. We had to go back down to the front desk to have them recode the card.

I will never stay here again. Very poor property with lots of maintenance issues. Customer service changes there story multiple times and very dishonest.

The front desk men were welcoming and courteous. The cook was sweet and made a delicious breakfast! On the other hand, when you are pet friendly there needs to be more thorough cleaning. There was dog hair on the couch and the box spring. The pool was Freezing! As was the temp in the pool area.
