Review of My Veenolia stay
I stayed in this Hotel in the off-season - I was the only resident there! Bablu and Vijay were very helpful towards my needs...they even borrowed me their bicycle so I could fetch some essentials on the evening of my arrival. They arranged breakfast every morning and provided me with a map of Goa which allowed me to plan my excursions. Bablu gave me a takeaway menu from a local restaurant which was very useful on an evening. The area of the hotel was quiet and tranqil...just what I needed after a few days in Mumbai!

Budget frill free Stay
The folks at the reception were helpful and courteous. The room itself was relatively clean, but could be better lit at evenings, hot water was good and available at all times, though the shower can be improved. The restaurant was currently closed due to low demand during Covid timea but there a eateries close by. Parking wa available but in limited amount for 4 wheelers.

Decent stay at an affordable price.
The stay was overall good. For a budget Solo-traveller this was the best option i could get in South Goa. 30 mins of time taken from/to airport. Only problem which i found was the menace caused by mosquitoes.Take a mosquito repellent with you.

It was a wonderful experience staying in Veeniola. Perfectly cleaned rooms in budget, very close to one of d best zalor beach and perfect outside environment. Special thanks to Mr Charlie who suggested Mr Ayub for taxi services. I would like to come again for staying in Veeniola.

Friendly staff, peaceful area
We arrived very late at veeniola guesthouse, and we feelt very welcome, the room was very clean and confortable with nice balcony, the house is approximately 15mints walking far from the beach, but the narrow road is beautiful for a relax Walk and Carmona beach is a paradise, I definitely should recommend this place

Boring place. People stiff and not really open minded. There where guests smoking, television was playing loud in guest hall. The lady overseer was not happy we booked with Hotels.com Complaining she would not get her payment soon and lied to us that there were no more rooms available next days.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. The serenity of the place can be boring to some guests but to many who have stayed with us, it provides a relaxing break. We do not know why you found us to be stiff as we are accomodating to any requests our guests have to make but regret that you feel this way. Also, lying to you about the availability sounds absurd as it would be refusing to accept revenue which is something we will never do. However, we do appreciate you taking the time for providing us your feedback.

The first negative surprise was in arrival as I have requested a transfer from the airport and got an e-mail where it was confirmed but in reality there wasn't anybody to pick me up, sp had to arrange a taxi by myself which was the cheaper solution in the end. As Veeniola informed that a taxi from the airport will cost 1100 rupees, the taxidriver at the airport charged just 900 rupees. The most unpleasant surprise waited me on arrival, when it was told me that due to the overbooking at Veeniola, I have to stay at the opposite hotel Don Sa Maria for the first 3 nights. That was a complete nonsense as I have booked/paid my reservation already in October 2015. So not a trustworthy to make your bookings at Veeniola, it's never sure if you actually get your room. Staff members at Veeniola are extremly unfriendly, you are not even greeted, so unusual in Goa where people are friendly and polite. Food in a restaurant was cheap but not good as well. The best about Veeniola is well working wifi, was working even in my room, big modern bathroom.

Due to unavoidable guests, veniola person arranged us another stay at Jacks place, nearby cavelosim beach,It was a good stay to record.Jacks place is very better than veniola.but for fud and beverages u have to go nearby restaurants.no wifi at present. Stay was good and calm.

Nice hotel but advert said we had a 29 inch tv in room no it was in the tv shared by other people from other rooms, no fridge, not good when the bar is not open, also at 11'o clock at night the shutters went down on the front entrance, we where not told about another entrance we could leave if we wanted a stroll or if there was a fire to me this is not good staff freindly .

Laid back place for a relaxed stay
This place is an ideal location to just while away your time strolling in the beach and having good food. But be sure to map this place beforehand since it is difficult to get to and the reception isn't usually manned. Charlie and Lenny will help you on a comfortable stay.

Mysigt och rent hotell (dock en del myror). Beläget i ett lugnt område där det var lätt att koppla av och njuta av semestern. hjälpsam personal, rena lakan och golv samt gångavstånd till stranden.
