Cons: The driving is questionable and the country seems to lack the infrastructure to deal with trash so the area around the hotel is dirty and noisy."

"We arrived, checked in and went to sleep, in the morning the floor of our room was covered in water from a leaking toilet. The front desk was very efficient, and put us in an upgraded room for the remainder of our stay. The breakfast lived up to it's reputation, it had a great selection any a large selection."

"Wow. We were so impressed with our stay. The service was unbelievably good -- from the front desk to maid service. Everyone was super (and sincerely) friendly and made very interaction a pleasure. We have traveled first class through other foreign countries, and this was equivalent. We loved that the hotel is also a piece of the history of Panama City, and the location is absolutely where you want to be as a first-time visitor. Easy to walk to fantastic restaurants and security was always present (due to proximity of the Presidential Compound) -- but not in an uncomfortable way. "
