The electric for the building and the entire surrounding community went down at about 7am on our last day. This was something they had no control over. However they did not have a backup generator to control the elevators or emergency lighting in the rooms. We had to carry our luggage from the 3rd floor to the first via the stairway. I will be contacting their corporate office.

The front desk attendant was bored and despondent - mostly on his phone. We were approved for late check out and soon found out that we were actually denied. The halls had a moist mildew smell. Garbage, shoes, and towels were thrown in the hall. This was weird because we checked in well after cleaning hours. Our hotel room had food from a previous guest still in the bed side drawer. The walls are thin- our neighbors were either having a great time or in severe pain it’s hard to tell. There’s nothing around the hotel. No restaurant or bar. The only clean amenity I would guess would be the gym.

Didnt like how i couldn't check in when i got into town at noon. Made me wait till 3pm just to check. I get it 3pm is check in time, but would have been nice to be able to check in early being that i flew in from another state
