It’s really beautiful there. We loved our room and the amenities. The breakfast was nice, has all the basic you need. One disappointment is that the big beautiful building show on the main page IS NOT the hotel and IS NOT accessible to guests. The restaurant is bad, don’t eat there

This was a beautiful and relaxing stay at the tail end of our Italy trip. The property is breathtaking. Breakfast at La Cantina del Redi was delicious. Wonderful coffee and fresh, well prepared food. The only major suggestion for improvement is to improve the quality and craft of the main hotel restaurant. Service was impeccable.

It is a beautiful and true Tuscany villa experience. There is a small village within walking distance with magnificent views and charming. The drive there is very windy and difficult, so be prepared, but it is well worth it. There was a horrible smell at our villa (probably the AC). They changed us to a different room the next day. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

The location and the grounds is what will bring us back. The rooms are more than outdated. We understand the need to maintain a level or originality but that can be achieved whilst keeping it clean and updating bathrooms and furniture. The sofas were extremely filthy with stains and odor. The beds were incredibly hard, 3 days was barely doable. That said: Don’t let my honest review detract you from coming here. My reasoning for leaving this review is in hopes management will come across it and empower somebody to make some much needed improvements. Truth be told, our stay at Tenuta Di Artimino was the perfect way to cap off our tour of Italy.

We’ve stayed here on many occasions and each time we return it improves. Our room was one of the Borgo apartments, it was spacious and clean with a small fridge, microwave and a cooking hob. We dined out most nights, there are several restaurants all within close proximity offering classic Italian dining. The staff at the hotel were efficient and very helpful offering excellent customer service - thankfully speaking very good English. The parking facilities were good both by the apartments and the hotel - although we didn’t use the car very much as it’s a lovely walk from the village to the hotel. Will definitely be back!

Nearly perfect.. just outside of Florence.
Remarkable.. a last-minute trip to Florence (Firenze) had all the Florence hotels booked (except the stupid expensive ones and we needed 2 rooms) so we stayed here. All I can say is our next time in the area, we will stay in this property and drive in to Florence when we want to see the city. The views were spectacular. The staff was amongst the best you will have anywhere. Some of the rooms were newly renovated and still had some gotchas, although I am sure they will be fixed soon. I can absolutely understand why so many people have their weddings here. If you stay here, absolutely try the "just off the property" restaurant called Da Delfina (yelpers - go check it out). If you want to visit Florence, this is the way to do it. You can enjoy the stunning beauty of the countryside and drive in to spend the days in the city. You can thank me later ;-) This was an "accidental find" but a place we will certainly visit again.

The hotel is located in secluded area , the views are beautiful , the room i was offered was very small aswell the bathroom i could barely fit in the shower, the turn off was that their A/C system was not working , i had to call reception to get a fan cause even though that temperature outside was nice inside the room was hot , i was very upset the day i arrived because of this situation but later i tried to enjoy the views and forget about the fact that it was hot in the room, the things i liked was they offer salvatore ferragamo amenities in the bathroom i thought it was very classy , the bed sheets and pillows very cozy , great blackout to sleep and very quiet hotel overall , the breakfast buffet and a la carte both very good and great service, walking the property and the places around amazing , things i didnt like the A/C not working and room too small , i dont think this is a luxury hotel is more like a 3 star i would say , i was expecting to be pampered in a resort with all the comfort but it didnt happened

We did not stay in the main building. The chateau you see is an event space and used daily. The rooms are 300 yards away in what use to be the old town. They preserved the old feel but put every modern convenience in every apartment. There are multiple restaurants in the room area. And very good. I highly recommend you try the cheese cake at breakfast. Ooo. Definitely take the breakfast it's wonderful!!! I'll be back

It was great. Loved the service and atmosphere. Grounds are amazing. Most food was good and abundant, but compared to other food we ate in Italy it was not as well seasoned. Somethings we ate could be a little fresher. My truffle pasta was very good. Oil in fried foods was not fresh - for fritta. Only spent one night. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Good positive attitude.

Authentic Italian retreat, situated in a quiet area with very good restaurants - all within walking distance. The hotel staff were very accommodating and attentive and coped with the COVID situation very well. Breakfast was served on an individual basis respecting the social distancing rules. This is our third visit and certainly won’t be our last!

Fantastic location in the heart of Tuscany’s wine and olive region. As a treat, we got access to the Medici Villa ‘La Ferdinanda’. Outstanding breakfast with local dairy products, fresh fruit, delicious cakes and the best cappuccino - wonderful! Our rental car helped us to get around in this rural area of the Tuscany.

There is no doubt that Tenuta di Artimino is a hotel in a stunning location.....sadly the service and facilities at the hotel do not match. This was our third stay in artimino, originally recommended by family who have holidayed there for over ten years. First year, we stayed in La Fagginae apartments....a walk down a long dusty road from the main hotel but buestifully furnished. Last year, the apoartment offered was poly, dark with very basic bathrooms overlooking a car park(impossible to move in the shower). This year, we booked the hotel in the hope the facilities would be better. Hotel rooms are close to main pool and breakfast which is good. However, they are dark with no natural light and bathrooms are not to standard. Our second room (family of five) had a bath Nd no shower. Our bathroom was small and electrical appliances are concerning. Hairdryer is plugged into wall/mains electric with no nozzle so hair gets burned easily. European adapters do not work in these rooms so we were left without ability to charge phones as a family of five and had to rely onnour family to supply old adapters. Staff range from very helpful to curt/borderline rude. Reception staff are generally indifferent. Consider carefully whether to take children to this resort -our children were told off for using pool inflatables but had to sit and watch other children using theirs without issue. When I complained and asked for consistency (2018 pool inflatables were not a problem)

The property is gorgeous and the location idyllic, the only thing that let it down was the hard bed and pillows. If it wasn't for that I would stay there again.

Their bathtub did not drain well and the handles on the shower was broken that was unfortunately ... I did not complain because I didn’t want to move to another room I was very tired from the whole day ...

Beautiful property
Beautiful place to stay. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed staying at this beautiful property. Some of the dishes in the restaurant were not well prepared (mixed seafood secondi), however, and sometimes the waiter service in the restaurant could have been better. Also the spa experience was poor, my wife did not feel comfortable during her massage with the man. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the wine from the estate was very good.

The area is beutiful, but the hotel is a bit outdated, rooms are dark only a small window, very very smal shower!. The caste next to the hotel is a wedding location and there for a lot of noice disturbance, music. That spa is not in the same building but 500 meters away.

Our Hotel is the result of a faithful renovation of an elegant building from the early seventeenth century made just in 2016, and our rooms are designed thinking about style and comfort. Villa La Ferdinanda is a wedding location, but we always think about our Hotel guests, therefore we have an hour limit for music and party outside. The Spa is located in Artimino's Hamlet, maybe we have to point it out better, but we hope you could enjoy it. Thanks again for all your feedback we hope to see you soon here.

Half way there...
We were happy with the location and the beatuiful surroundings. However... One of the main reasons why we picked this hotel was due to the included SPA. However, this was a big let down. First, it's not at the hotel, but you have to walk aproximately 15 minutes to get there. Included in the stay is 2 hours of SPA. However, when we were there it turned out that they wanted us to leave after 1½ hour. As we were booked between 18:00-20:00 and it was only 19:25 when they told us to leave, we hung around for about 5 minutes. Shortly after they pretty much threw us out. This was a BIG dissappointment and on top of it, the Steam sauna was broken, the whirlpool was cold (?!) and they had private treatments in the ONLY working sauna. They even asked their other clients if they wanted us to leave since they had booked the sauna, which would've left us with NO place to be. On the positive side: * The Villa is beautiful * The living quarters (separate building) were nice and the rooms nice and tidy * The staff at the actual hotel were polite, friendly and helpful. * The breakfast was a big plus with lots to choose from. * The nearby town was perfect for one or two days of relaxation. All in all, a nice place to stay - as long as you don't expect anything from the SPA.

Foi muito legal, rodamos a Toscana toda de carro e este foi o hotel com a melhor localização, ou seja central. De lá para qualquer cidade a distância é bem tranquila . Quando voltar ficaremos nele novamente, ficamos três dias, da próxima ficaremos praticamente todo o tempo que ficarmos na Toscana. Muito bom!

Da un hotel a 4 stelle è obbligatorio aspettarsi di più. Avere la trave a vista sopra il letto sul soppalco, piena di polvere e con ragnatele, non è proprio il massimo. Personale alla reception freddino,che non ti chiede neppure se hai bisogno di un aiuto con le valige ti lascia interdetto. Ottima colazione, discreto ristorante.
