Hi Juan,Please accept my apologies for the food odors you found in your room. Kitchenette suites from time to time pick up these odors from people cooking in them. We will continue to air out the room whenever it's vacant, but I assure you, it was just from someone who enjoyed cooking.

Please accept my apologies for any of the locals you may have seen wandering the street and through the parking lot. The Carlsbad Police Department makes multiple patrols through all the businesses' lots during the night to try and move these homeless folks along, but I understand it can create a bad look for travelers.

Hi Susan! Thank you for the wonderful review.Regarding the kitchen supplies, I think you might have been caught in the middle of our restructuring on this ... allow me to explain. We just bought all brand new cookware, dishes and other eating supplies and have full kits available at the front desk. Since there was never any information about the availability of these items, we also had easel signs made up and put them in all our kitchenette suites this week. If by chance, you had a do not disturb sign on your door the day we distributed the signs, then your room wouldn't have gotten one. The other possibility (sadly) is that we just missed your room. In either case, I'm truly sorry you weren't made aware of the availability of this great amenity.

Dear Gene,We sweep and mop the breakfast room floors after closing and service the lobby twice a day. I regret that with all the rain we've had lately alot of dirt and debris gets tracked in. We've added extra floor mats on both sides of the entranceways which will hopefully take care of the problem.

Hi Julie,The pool service company was out today and everything is spic and span. I regret that the recent stormy weather has wreaked havoc on the outside facilities in our area and this was the soonest we could get the service company in.

Hi Rita,As I have expressed to so many of our guests, I am truly sorry for the discomfort and inconvenience caused by the water main break to the hotel. Unfortunately, things like this are completely unpredictable and totally out of our control, but we did what we could to keep everyone as comfortable as possible.

On behalf of the entire staff, we are all terribly sorry for all the discomfort and inconvenience our guests experienced when one of the main water lines into the hotel ruptured. The fact that this line was below the concrete foundation made a swift repair impossible. Fortunately, emergencies like this are rare, but it will ruin any guest's experience.
