En-route from the Scottish Highlands to Kent - it makes an ideal overnight stay with a good evening meal available if you want one. Pooch-friendly Room 11 is lovely. It’s at the rear of the property, so no noticeable traffic noise from the busy main road at the front. We received a great welcome & D.V. look forward to returning "

"The hotel is located just out the Railway Station Door. We were able to drop our bags, as we arrived earlier in the day. Convenient to see the Cathedral & Castle. Staff was very helpful, I take a medicine that must be refrigerated and they stored it for me. The real problem is the There is no A/C. Our room had the full afternoon sun and was over 80 degrees.
