The hotel had a quirky boutique vibe about that I really liked. The staff, Buzwe and Money in particular, were both very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back there when I’m next in Cape Town.

No elevator ☹️
All was good except no elevators. We each had two 50 lb. bags as we were coming off what was suppose to be a four month sea voyage. Hotel personnel did lug our biggest bags but three flights with a nearly 50 lb back pack was brutal. If that is on the web site we did not see it and would have stayed elsewhere. That said other wise it was great.

Good value hotel in Central location
Comfortable, affordable hotel in long st. Nice hotel, good service, arty room. Long st is noisy however and with the window open kept me awake at night. Also, the road feels a little bit dangerous to walk down at night. Really convenient location though.

Extremely friendly staff helped me out with booking trips, finding restaurants and such. The area is fairly convenient and close to various restaurants. Only issue was that my AC stopped working at some point, but it wasn't too hot anyway.

Spent nine nights at Daddy Long Legs and enjoyed every minute of it. Fabulous location, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are good value - with en-suite. I would highly recommend a stay at Daddy Long Legs :-)

It was such a pleasure stay at Daddy long legs. Location is superb and I felt completely safe when inside the hotel even though Long street is known to be sketchy . It should be fine walking around during the day, just a walking distance to bo Kaap. Read reviews that it can noisy at night because of the parties but I never had a problem and slept well thru sat night . I would definitely come back again if I’m visiting capetown the next time .

They were great. Answered all my questions. Great recommendation for food. Arranged for our private tour. And when our flights changes they were more than willing to accommodate us at the last minute. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean and convenient
Clean hotel and clean quirky themed rooms. Convenient location on the quiet end of Long Street. 1 bkock makes all the difference. One block to the right and you wont sleep because of the music and street noise. Tons of reataurants around. Walking distance to lot of sights. Fly safe in the ara even at 3am, as area patrolled by police and lots of security or whatwver yellow vested watchers are called.

Very nice and unique
The hotel is unique. It has personalized rooms. Every room is different and very especial decorated . They give you a welcome drink. The reception guys are very friendly. Your are located in the main downtownl l, but at night has too much night life. Out side are many bars, discos restaurants. Is not nice for kids . South Africa is not a safety place eventhou i didn't have any issue, but every body tell you to be be careful. you need to be aware about your money and important stuffs. Leave your stuff in your hotel. I will go again to this hotel.

Affordable, funky Cape Town hotel
A lovely boutique hotel in the quiet end of Cape Town’s clubby Long Street. Each room is a themed art project. I can only comment on my room called the Fresh room named after a candy mint, sixth night tables with the cand mint sealed in it. The staff is very helpful, they welcome you with a drink, and you step outside the hotel to a bustling and interesting part of the city. As a woman travelling alone I felt safe in the area returning to the hotel after dinner. Well priced, quirky and I would stray again.

Cool design hotel, at the center of cape town

The rooms are tastefully decorated in different styles. The location is ideal for bars and restaurants and city tours. The bar and balcony are comfortable for watching the world go by.

One night stay in Cape Town.
Stayed here for just one night before our flight home. We were put in the Emergancy Room, which was strange, but we liked it. Great location on Long Street with many places close by to drink and eat. Very good place for breakfast 1 minuite walk away. It would have been nice to have a fridge.
