What room you see you don’t always get on hotels.c
An impressive hotel. The breakfast offering is truly magnificent. Beware that the room style you chose on hotel.com may not be what you get. I was at this hotel the previous week and confirmed my room level for my return, but when returning the following weekend I was down graded.

Lovely break away
Awesome view from the sea facing rooms which was spacious and comfortable. Efficient check in with friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in good condition and kept neat. A hop and a skip from the beach, which can be very windy at times. It is lovely to wake up to the sounds of waves breaking. Breakfast team helpful in meeting dietary needs. Breakfast area does gets busy. Variety of TV channels but experienced some buffering issues.

From the airport shuttle, a friendly gentleman with lovely tips for the weekend. To the receptionist Crystal who gave a swift welcome, the waves restaurant staff Sipho was amazing. The pebbles Gin barman, I mean I could go on & on. I loved every moment of the stay, room service also on par.

Disappointing
The service was just really bad. The phones in the room were not working and no-one made even an effort to repair it. There were not enough towels and bathroom ameneties. The room service were of poor standard - arrived cold and without any condiments. In spite of specifically arranging to charge meals to the room to add to convenience, the room service waiters insisted on payment on delivery. I stayed at this facility once before in March, and at the time it was great. There has been a marked and significant deterioration since.

My first room A 505 air con was broken, was moved to room A303 when showering the water leaked out through the bottom of the door.
