I stayed at this hotel for one night because it was affordable and conveniently located near the boardwalk and beach. The front desk lady was very nice and changed my room since I had originally booked a room with two beds, even though I was traveling alone. Unfortunately, the room had some type of odor smell when I entered. The lighting was very dim, and the room could really use a ceiling light or a brighter lamp. The microwave didn't work, or the cord wasn't long enough to reach the outlet. I also wasn't impressed with the toiletries provided, but thankfully I brought my own. The towels didn't smell fresh, possibly due to the detergent used. The bed was made nicely, and the location was decent, although it was still a bit of a walk to the beach. Wildwood reminded me a little of Seaside. Parking was limited and involved double parking in some areas. Overall, the hotel was affordable, but because of the room conditions and lack of updates, I probably would not stay here again.

I stayed one night with my children for a basketball tournament. The check in process was not bad. I have a pet peeve that when I hand you something in your hand, I expect you to hand the item back to me in my hand and the person checking me in placed my items on the desk. That is so rude. Other than that the staff were ok. The tv in the room did not work throughout my stay. They sent someone to fix it but it never got fixed. I guess they expect people to spend most of the time on the boardwalk so a working tv is not a priority of theirs. The best thing about this motel is the location. It is steps from the boardwalk, convention center, and in the middle of some great stores on the boardwalk. The motel is small and the bathroom is too tight. It is so small you can barely bend down in the bathroom the sink is directly in front of the toilet the sink water splashes everywhere getting the toilet seat wet. It’s just not good. I have to travel to Wildwood again soon and I will not take a chance on another motel even if it is close to the boardwalk. I just have to spend a little more money to be comfortable.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The stairs to the second level are rusting out and falling apart. We had friends in another room where there were old cigarette butts & ash in the nightstand drawer, as well as used tissues in the dresser. Our room dust & dirt wise was clean. Front desk girl was nice but certainly did not care about the poor conditions or customer satisfaction.

Check In was a breeze. The woman was nice friendly but the room the TV can only get one channel there was heat, but you couldn’t adjust it and it blew very hot constantly. You couldn’t open the window because it was broke. There were no extra blankets and to top it off there was no hot water so you couldn’t take a shower or a bath.

the location was great. Near the boardwalk. the room was dated and in need of some renovation. the door had to be slammed to close, the bathroom was missing tiles, the toilet seat was chipped, the sink wasn't sturdy in the wall, the air conditioner was missing molding, the microwave was dirty, the refrigerator was missing shelves, the TV remote was missing batteries, i liked the floors and the beds were comfortable.

This property is old and needs some renovation. The bed is comfortable. The shower faucet needs to be replaced, but still does the job. Has a small sofa but is dirty I had to put towel on top of the sofa for me to sitting down. This is why I am giving 4 stars.

It was so outdated that the key to the room was literally a metal key with a tag that had the room number conveniently attached to it. If cleanliness is not your priority,the location was perfect, right behind the boardwalk.
