A little dated but clean and comfortable
well run hotel. It's a little dated but it's super clean. Small gym in basement. Room was comfortable. There is a very handy foot subway from the station almost to the hotel front door so it's super well located.

Lovely short break in Cannes
Had a lovely 2 night stay here as part of our holiday to the south of France. The receptionist was lovely (sorry can't remember his name) and he allowed us to check in early. Good location as very near the train station and not far to the old town and the main street with all the designer shops and beachfront restaurants. Nice pool on the rooftop - would have been nice to have had a rooftop bar too but overall thoroughly enjoyed and would return.

The location was very convenient for train travel along the riviera coastline. The staff were very polite and friendly. The (plunge) pool was pleasant and loungers for sunbathing and relaxing. Good value for money and extremely comfortable.

Disappointing and extremely rude staff
Be VERY careful with housekeeping and where you leave your things. During our stay housekeeping threw away all of my medication which was left in the bathroom and also took a beach towel we brought from home. We didn’t get either back. The staff were extremely rude and hostile when confronted and attempted to blame us by saying it was “our word against theirs” and that our room was messy, when in fact the room has no storage - there are no drawers or closets, so you will have to live out of your suitcase. The bathroom is more of a 3 star standard. Housekeeping also will not replace anything (glasses, toiletries, etc.). The staff are miserable and do not want to help, they ruin the environment as you come and go from the hotel. They really need a training course in hospitality. The pool is extremely misleading from the photos, it is tiny and there is nothing around it. The only good thing about the hotel is that it is relatively clean and in a good location. Unfortunately we would not return due to the hostility from the staff, the poor housekeeping and the lack of trust that our things would be safe.

Would recommend.
Comfortable, clean and all we needed. Beds very comfy. Bathroom a bit small and lacks ventilation. Could do with a mirror in the room rather than kust in the bathroom and also more coat hooks etc, and places to hang towels/swimming costumes/wet coats. Pool a very nice extra.

The hotel is conveniently positioned being a fairly short walk to the main shopping area and beach front. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast was very nice. The room was spacious and the shower excellent.

Understand chic - convenient location.
Exceeded expectations. On the map.you would think this this a little way from the seafront less desirable as a hotel location. In fact, it's an underpass from the action and has a cool interior with some nice artifacts. Reserved chic. Front entry and reception are mundane but the rest of the hotel (including the massive Marilyn Monroe fresco) is cool.

Location was fantastic. Close to to the Palais and other main attractions. Coffee machine in the room was nice. Rooms were fairly dated but pretty large. One of the women at the front desk threw me off. She told me my room wasn’t available but would let me know when it was. She then left for lunch an hour or so later, didn’t say anything when she did, so I checked with the person who took over at the front desk. He quickly gave me my room key to go to my room. Just a weird interaction. Besides that, if the prices aren’t outrageous, a fairly decent spot in Cannes.

Ok stay - the hotel is quite tired looking (and very dark in the hallways!) The pool is a good addition but overall this isn't a 4 star hotel - more like 3 star. The light switch fell off on our first day and the bath plug was broken (it was fixed a few hours later) but first impressions weren't great. Would love if you could cast your photo to the TV to watch things like Netflix.

Looking a little dated and the initial welcome wasn’t particularly very warm! Quite strict on the bringing pain of your own snacks/water but yet their selection wasn’t limited and expensive!

Hello, Wacke up !! you are staying in hotel, you are not suppose to bring your own food and drinks !! where is the respect !! expensive our Bar ? I want to offer a service, a good bottle of Champagne bought 21 € we sell it 48 € normaly we shoul sell it at least 70 €, at least and for all the drinks the same ratio, even more we haven't change the price since 10 years, a saint romain from alain gras 28 € we buy it 18€ normal rate would be 45 € expensive ?? limited choice at our bar ? you can find more than 40 items from water to whiskies !! We do not make any profit on the bar this is just a service because we do not imagine a hotel without a bar and the lounge. Best regards

This was a great experience! Friendly and helpful staff, the room was VERY comfortable, I loved the bathroom shower and the pool on the roof was the icing on the cake. The location is good. Its not too close to the beach and all of the action but it's not far either. A good 5 minute walk and you can be in the action, by the shops, and by the beach. The train is right at the end of the underpass so the location is very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Clean room and comfortable beds . Staff were friendly. Don’t replace drinking water or room amenities but we had clean towels everyday . Rooms needed a mini fridge and kettle . Lift very small and slow and had to walk steep steps to get to swimming pool. Some aspects meant it seemed more 3 than 4 star

Great Place!
Great trip due to the amazing staff, we had issues with our booking that the staff was beyond committed to help us resolve - so much so that the manager stayed 45 minutes past her shift for us. She also was wonderful and checked in on us daily. Location is great, I actually loved being RIGHT by the train station, as its so easy.

Great little quirky hotel in Cannes.

Central Cannes with a rooftop pool
Wonderful location, 10 mins walk to beach, although next to station you did not hear noise at all. Perfect spot to get the train to other towns and the pool was great! Although didnt use the gym i believe it was free, the spa and gym were below the hotel. Staff very friendly (Matilde especially) and the breakfast good. We had the breakfast only one day as so many lovely spots around to eat in. Thank you- great trip.

Nothing fancy but definitely way better than many options. Comfortable room, great staff, easy access to all the action. Only issue is the elevators - small and sometimes unreliable. Otherwise I have zero complaints. Matilde, particularly, on the staff was lovely and accommodating all week.

They didn't have heat in the rooms and I got cold and also didn't have extra pillows. I have a metal in my neck and it was uncomfortable with the pillows and I had extra pain But the service was great. I couldn't get room service though which was tough because I was in pain and wanted to stay in during the evenings but had to go out. Cute hotel though.

Good value but could so easily be better
A small, stylish, refurbished retro hotel. Positives: BBC1 and BBC2 TV channels, a welcome facility we've never come across before in Europe; a handy rooftop terrace and pool, very nice bathrooms and a great location for days out along the coast - just a couple of hundred metres from the station. The negatives, which were very irritating because they're so unnecessary: no fridge; ridiculously expensive breakfast charge and a charge to refill the tea/coffee sachets after the first night - how counter-productive is that? They appear to want you to stay one night because you get charged extra for more nights? We stayed 7 nights and so were irritated afresh each day. Having said that the staff were nice and we enjoyed our stay in Cannes, with easy day trips to Monaco, Nice and Juan le Pin. Can recommend the Croisette Cave on Rue Antibe. An afternoon snack of snails followed by rum baba.

Small hotel, well located.
We stayed at this hotel during for a weekend during the Cannes Film festival. The hotel was very well located and could easily walk to the beach, the old town, the Croisette. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly.

I stayed here during the Cannes Film Fest 2018 and I would def stay here again. The greatest asset this hotel has are the prople - the ladies at front desk are all awesome but Arnold is simply fantastic. He has a great sense of humor and mskes you feel super at home! Thank you and I will def come again:-)
