"This is a wonderful small resort. The property is beautifully landscaped and carefully maintained. What impressed us the most was the professional and friendly staff. From the general manager to the room cleaners and gardeners, the service was perfect. This is a sign of a well managed hotel property. "A two part review. Pros - a large hotel with great infrastructure, lovely rooms, first class friendly service, huge pool, amazingly clean and superb attractive gardens. Cons - the food was mass catering, buffet style, edible but bland and not especially well presented. The beach was truly horrible. Very pebbly, seriously uncomfortable to walk on, painful to get into the sea and not very attractive to sunbathe on (although beds around the pool were plentiful and comfortable. Pool side bar and toilets were not up to standard. The hotel is some distance from any village or attractions so a car is needed although the hotel does provide a shuttle service to Palermo and Cefalu. Also there were day trips arranged by the hotel. A decent chef and a bulldozer to the beach are essential to make this a stand out hotel worthy of all 4 stars. "

"Last minute booking for one night in Cefalu. Cute little place. The exterior and main lobby of the building looks like a forgotten office from the cold war. A tiny elevator takes you to the 4th floor where the B and B is located. You enter into a common area where they have a kitchen and breakfast facilities and the check-in area. My room was located on the far side of the common area and was big and spacious with a nice view of the ocean. Very quiet at night. The bathroom was small but functional. Perfect for a solo traveller overnight. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Bonus was the free parking lot...a rarity in Italian seaside towns! I arrived at two in the afternoon and found a spot right away. Short walk into town and the beaches. Cefalu is very cute. Wished I could have spent another day here. "
