I was super pleased when I got to this hotel. The location is perfect. Right on the Danube and right below the Castle. It’s right in the middle of all the attractions and things to do on the Buda side. It’s a quick walk across the Chain Bridge to the Pest side. The room was comfortable and had a private balcony with castle views. Bathroom was large and clean. It’s withing easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants and bars. The tram and subway stops are also close. Perfect stay!

Beautiful boutique hotel on the Danube
Excellent location with views across the Danube right next to the Chain bridge (Buda side). Very clean, fresh and spacious room with small balcony. Bed was quite firm but comfortable and that suited usEasy access to restaurants and most attractions. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We hope to come back here on our next trip.

It is in a fantastic location at the base of the Buda mountain. It was an easy walk to the Chain Bridge (which is breathe taking at night). We walked up to the castle the night we arrived and felt totally safe walking after dark through the lane and alley ways. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Chill or no thrill ....
Lanchid was an chill hotel when it opened. After ten years the hip is fading. The facade LED is aging and the lobby needs a wow factor to stay hip. Having said that, if you are simply looking for a nice personal hotel with great location, clean interior and good value, this is the perfect hotel for you. The room is spacious and if you book a river view room, the view is so spectacular you may not want to go outside. The receptionist is helpful to resolve whatever question you may have.

Great location, but the room service is eyebrow-rising. We had to ask for shampoo, the room was not vacuum cleaned uring our stay and from before... Strange to see this for such a price.

We had the panoramic suite overlooking river. It wasn't the one pictured on site(no glass partition). Staff were not very friendly. We only had breakfast once there during our 4night stay,one girl stood by door looking at her mobile phone, didn't even ask if we needed help or if everything was ok. Bar wasn't always manned. It is certainly not 4star. Jacuzzi bath in our room we only used once, due to when emptying it there was a lot of brown bits(dead skin!!!) left in bath, obviously it is not cleaned out enough!!! Would go back to Budapest but certainly not the Lanchid. The only thing that was excellent was the view!

Location was great, overlooking the river and easy access to the city. Reception staff let the place down a little - it wasn't busy checking out but still managed to make a hash of it! Rooms were clean and very comfy, breakfast was nothing groundbreaking but did the trick. All in though good value.

Dollar for dollar, compared to the big hotels across the river, this place is great. It's a boutique property with amazing views of the Danube and Pest. Rooms are large by European standards. I had a real King sized bed (not two tiny beds pushed together.) The facility is modern and just far enough off the beaten track to keep it quiet. But it's only a quick five-minute walk across the Chain Bridge to the heart of bustling Pest.

From start to finish, staff were helpful and accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect - quiet street with view of the Danube, close to castle, Parliament, public transportation, hop on/off tour bus. Comfortable beds, very clean and efficient use of space. Room service was fast. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Launched 19 Design Hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It is on the Buda side, quiet, serene...Just perfect. Staff is very nice and helpful. This hotel comes highly recommended.

Excellent location on Buda side. Easy walk to Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and many attractions. Tram is just steps away too. Great river view of Pest. Room is well appointed and most happy to be assigned 5th floor and thankful to be checked in early as room was available. Enjoyed room service where food is delivered fast and still warm. Especially liked king prawns with spinach. Quiet too and no noise heard from neighbours. However, there is no kettle nor the usual provided 2 bottles of water. Have to get (n pay of course) from minibar or room service. Also costs are quoted in Euros. Even if you want to pay in local currency, they tabulate everything in Euros first, then convert via prevailing exchange rate.

Beautiful view of the Chain Bridge and in some rooms Parliament. A bit more of a walk is you are wanting to be on the Pest side, but I didn't mind that one bit as it was such a wonderful view of a beautiful city.

Lovely small and quiet hotel in a perfect location . Just a short stroll across the Chain Bridge and we were in busy Pest. Very convenient for shopping and hte Christmas markets. Also just a short walk or funicular ride to Buda town with restaurants and many sightseeing opportunities. We stayed to celebrate our wedding anniversay and on reaching our room we found a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was a kind touch. Our modern room faced the Danube and it was lovely to watch the boats passing by and the city lit up at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. I bought some glass baubles and asked if the had a spare box to pack them in to get them home safely. one of the staff came to the room with a selection of boxes and packing material! Excellent service all round. If we return we would definitely stay here again.

They have a fantastic view and a huge bathtub! The entrance to the hotel is more like a 3 star hotel but the room is better! The cleaning ladies not really cleaning your room day after day, so it’s kind of a self cleaning which is not really what we payed for! We have a great time in Budapest! We are loved the city!:)

The photos for this hotel are overselling it a lot - I'd guess there's probably one room that looks as spacious and luxurious as the photos. Positives were: The location is great, really good restaurants and bars nearby, next to some of Budapest's biggest tourist spots and good for tram connections. We paid for a castle view room, which was good & possibly quieter at the back of the property with a small balcony. Bed was comfy and room was clean. I expected the room to be a bit bigger, and in better condition, a lot of the furniture was scuffed and old looking (but probably isn't, just the bright colours make it really obvious). A big annoyance was that they wouldn't accept card or euros for the city tax - it had to be forints (of which we didn't have many left and then wound up with a pile of useless coins). A nice place to stay if all you'll do is sleep there.
