Really good location, the guys running the hostel were great. Really fun time and they made it easy to meet people. There was a man snoring really badly, not sure about whether we could have done anything about this, but obviously not the hostel's fault. (When I say bad, I mean bad enough it stopped people sleeping and woke us up).

Great location
Great location within walking distance all places of interest. Breakfast was standard - bread with spreads, boiled eggs, cereal, salad with tea, coffee and cordial. The lift was small, old and creaky but it worked. Airport shuttle was great for EUR21 cash for three of us. We stayed in a private room which had it's own shared common area for cooking and eating. Lots of little cafes, fast food and small supermarkets were all within a block of the hostel.

Great Hostel
I stayed here for 3 nights. I arrived early on the Wednesday morning and there was no problem checking in. I was even shown to the room/bed. There was a toilet and shower in the room but option to use showers and toilets in corridor. These were really clean and cleaners were in there after each person in the morning. The room did get very warm so bare this in mind when it's warm. The free breakfast in the morning was a bonus. As was the drink and small dinner offer at night. Fridges on each floor for cold items and full kitchen to use. Staff were friendly. One of the better Hostels I've stayed in and would return.

Amazing stay amazing city
Perfect location, excellent staff all round, over 200 beds yet eveything was very well organised. Very Clean, enough toilets and showers, great breakfast included. Only one flaw was the outside noise, closing the windows eradicated the noise but then made the room uncomfortable with the heat so was a hard choice which to suffer with.

I definitely loved the location of the hostel, makes it easy to get anywhere. The stuff is really nice and helpfull, Samy and Ricardo were very attentive when i got there. I was traveling by myself and it made it easy to get to know people and have some fun 🤗 Only not so good part is that we were 8 in the room, which was full and only one bathroom, so it took forever to get ready in the morning 😅 I would recommend and also stay again here

Good solo stay
Great stay and good for solo travellers although many people were in groups when I stayed but probably just a bad time of year. Evie and Mateo were super kind and helpful throughout my stay, and great location. Showers weren't great, but there's lots of thermal baths in Budapest so not a crazy issue.

The Staff were very friendly. Kept up multiple cleaning procedures during the day. And the location is great! Its close to everything you need for a day or week stay. In the evenings you can go to the 1st floor kitchen and meet other guest and share your tine. I highly recommend this hostels among the others innthe area that i also stayed at.

Basically I made a mistake staying here. I had a good experience at a hostel in Belgrade but this was just too low-end for me, and the kicker was there is no air conditioning or fan and I was there during the summer heatwave of 2022 at 41 degrees. I got 3 hours of sweaty sleep and checked out the next morning, walking away from 2 non-refundable days. You have to pay e5 for a towel and e3 for a lock, and cash only. Both of these should come with the room. My check-in took over 30 minutes as they were doing a "shift change" and the clerk seemed very inexperienced and had to call someone. When you walk through the door on the street, the building looks like it hasn't been cleaned or maintained since the late 1700s. The elevator scared me. Once you get into the room though, the quality is OK. If you can get past all that, the location is excellent, in the heart of the city right on the public transportation lines and within blocks of the ruin bars and riverfront.

Also you did not mention anything like that during your stay. Our well trained staff check for bed bugs every day at the time of cleaning, but no bed bugs have been reported for several months recently. We hope to see you again!

Generally not clean but reception was helpful
Honestly, overall the cleanliness of hostel was poor. Many comments about bed bugs which I was afraid of, and having stayed there for 4 nights I can confirm it is true. The sheets and duvet covers are not clean and I did get bitten from it. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I had it many years ago. Generally, if you walk around the property it does not give you a sense of hygiene and cleaniness. Although reception was polite and helpful, easy to talk to which is the positive feedback I would be happy to give.

Its Okay
I booked a double room since I travel with my daughter and I don’t want to share room with other people. Room was spacious enough, with the basics: 2 twin beds, a cabinet to be used as closet, small desk with 2 chairs and big enough shower. It’s true that no towels are provided and if you need you have to pay 5 euros per each. Each floor has a fully equipped kitchen that you share with the rest of the guests in the same floor. Breakfast is good enough (boiled eggs, bread, coffee, oats, cereal, milk, cucumbers and tomatoes), each person has to wash their own plate/bowl/glass. The building is old and cold, elevator is so old fashion, but it’s entertaining to live the experience. The location is great, in Pest, where you can easily walk pretty much everywhere, prepare for long walks. All around the hostel is alive, lots of restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, etc. It’s a safe neighborhood. Easy access to tram and metro and very easy to arrive from the airport. Recommended por a couple of days

Total disappointment. Towels and bedding is not free. Towel alone costs 5 euros. Breakfast is mediocre. Rooms are the size of rat cages with 6 bunk beds… Old falling building from Stalin era… dirty and unsafe.

Great location & vibe-comfy bed w/ tasty breakfast
Pleasant surprise! I honestly was in a budget and when I book I thought "too cheap to be good." I was wrong. Location is amazing, easy access to 100E to/from Airport, trams, metro, buses,... There are lots of restaurants android markets, and easy access to tourist areas. I like the good vibe of people and place, staff helpful (busy, but helpful), wifi good signal, check-in smoothly quick, good bed, delicious breakfast included. I certainly would stay there again.

Best Hostel Ever
Hostel is so close to every place by walk or transportation. There are markets and restaurants close it but actually you don’t need to eat in a restaurant cause hostel has a big great kitchen with all supplies. Two microwaves, oven, two stoves, kettle, toast machine etc. and also so many plates, pots to use. All of them were clean cause everybody washes dirty dishes after they finish using. Staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was cool. Rooms and common area was nicely decorated. There are guitars, board games for you to spend time with your friends at hostel. The only weird thing is the entrance to the hostel cause the reception is on the first floor of the apartment and we couldn’t be sure about is this the right place when we first arrive there.

Basic but Functional
We had a room for five people although we were a three, we did have a private room and didn't share with others. It was unclear that towels costed an additional 5 euro to buy from reception, which was a shame. The bathroom had a soap/shower gel which was full and functioning correctly. If you are very fussy about the comfort of a bed I would maybe consider staying elsewhere however we all found our beds comfortable. The room was a little hot one night, which we fixed by opening a window slightly for some time. The location of the hostel is faultless, the breakfast was included so no real complaints, although the options were very limited and occasionally it was hard to find space in the breakfast area. For those who were interested, many events and tours were organised by the hostel should you wish to socialise with other people travelling. For the price it was a basic stay which we expected, although a few things such as towels included would have been useful, since there were a few situations when we felt like we had to 'make do' with things - had we known we would have packed them in our luggage.

Our stay at this hostel was relatively comfortable with only a few minor hiccups. We stayed in a 4-share with en suite bathroom. The room was cleaned daily and the hostel as a whole was extremely clean. The cleaners were efficient in the morning but weren't particularly respectful of people sleeping in the room (excessive shaking on the bunks while changing the bedding, waking people up and having loud conversations amongst themselves, also waking people up) The beds were comfortable and equipped with a privacy curtain, reading light and two plug sockets. Noise from the street wasn't a problem for us - even though our window was directly facing the busy roundabout and tram line. Breakfast was sufficient and filling - but a couple of days we went down there was no eggs, toast or milk left. Staff also made me cut my breakfast short so that they could continue their clean-up. The in-house bar was cheap and the staff friendly. On our second to last night we had a problem with another guest in our room, and despite my girlfriend complaining twice about him (trying numerous times to enter the bathroom when she was in there, was one of the problems), staff did not step in to talk to him. Luckily he decided to change rooms himself. Overall, I would recommend this hostel to other travellers.

It was way much nicer than what I expected. Hostel was very clean and organize. I will definitely recommend it. The only thing that I would change is the building main entrance, it looks dirty and scary.

Its location was perfectly centralise to go to almost all the attractions and daily breakfast is provided. Only the downside of it, is the almost daily noise from the street at night. It was really noisy and if you are a light sleeper, maybe this is not the best place for you. I stayed in a all girls dorm, and on more than one occasions, a male staff enter the room with just a knock without much of a shout who they are. In one particular night, while lazing around alone in the room and suddenly the door opens, in which 2 male staff went in and walk around and just went out the room without much of a sorry or excuse me. I think in my own point of view, it is very insecure for an all girls dorm to be in. Unless really necessary for a male staff to attend a certain issues, a basic knock and a shout of intro and a minute of waiting would be sufficient in case of anyone not dressing appropriately.

Everything is nice but...
The room was too hot. There is a fan on the ground but the temperature doesn't change much.....several person in my room cancelled their stay because of this heat...... Since other condition is so nice, it's pity in my opinion.

Not my choice for a hostel
The location of the hostel is good staffs seem to be nice but it is a very cheaply run hostel in a rundown building. Only two fan for sixteen bed hostel is crazy. The operator have no sense to add several more fans for a small price. No soap or any kind of body wash for shower. Although there is breakfast but choices are very poor. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone.
