Great family friendly stay
Excellent location for the hotel, close to train line and shops. Very handy when travelling with a little one. Hotel room was clean and tidy and great shower and bath facilities. Cot was missed off the booking but brought up within an hour.

Peaceful comfort for families
We had a great time at the Scandic Alvik. The family room was quiet and spotless. We enjoyed the 'relax' (Swenglish for sauna suite) and had a delicious dinner in the restaurant, taking advantage of the offer for children to eat at 50% off. The breakfasts as Scandic are always fantastic and we particularly enjoyed the bircher muesli, the ginger shots and the full English. My children are already asking if we can return there again. The only thing that wasn't great was perhaps the view from our window, overlooking a car park. However, with the shore of Lake Mälaren nearby, you can get scenery a two minute walk away.

We chose this hotel because it was right next to our customer's office. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It's very close to Alvik station if you need to take a train/ tram/bus. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choices.

Nice hotel
This hotel had a good price, and i got it recommended by a friend. The room was a standard room and worked just fine. Space to move around and toilet with a rather large shower. Breakfast was not huge, but it had everything you wanted so I didnt miss anything there, and everything was really nice. Serviceminded workers and other staff in the hotel made the visit.

Excellent place to stay, relatively near the center of Stockholm while not being too centric and hectic. There is a T station and access to many buses nearby, and the town of Alvik is quiet, but it still has a supermarket and several eating places.

Not too bad!
Good hotel although I think we got the room with the worst view, looking straight into the ventilation drum, a big one. Not the end of the world, since we were only sleeping there, but I don’t think the hotel was full, so… Another thing is that they don’t have sewing kits even at the reception. Not a huge deal, but my jacket ripped in the sleeve and I wanted to fix it but had to wait till I got home. Great breakfast and we had one dinner there which was really good!

Stayed at the Scandic Alvik for Jul with my 2 daughters. I can't fault the hotel one bit! All the staff were happy and helpful, the rooms were just what we needed and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The one night we ate dinner in the hotel was also lovely. Thank you!

The room was good and spacious, we had enough room to put a roll away bed in our room for a 3rd person. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was great. Staff were friendly. There was lots of options for breakfast and it was all yum. Nothing negative at all :)

the location for the hotel is good . i stayed here for 5 nights.. the hotel is old . the bathroom is old as well and small .. there is no air condition in the room .. so in the summer time is not good . the room is small ,and a bit dark . the bed not comfortable . Standard Business Traveller Hotel
Hotel is very much directed to the business traveller , who perhaps spends 1 - 2 nights , there the amenities are standard. The staff are lovely and the rooms and general area is very clean.
