A jewel in the heart of Brno
Outstanding hotel at a great location in Brno. Knowing that next day would be rainy, we headed out for a memorable night stroll around old town. By far the best hotel in our 10 day trip to Eastern Europe. Elegant, comfortable room with every desired amenity, free underground parking, delicious buffet breakfast, all topped by excellent service all around.

Book the superior rooms!
I upgraded to superior room as the regular rooms are basic and very dated. The superior rooms are modern, well-appointed, and beds very comfortable and very supportive. Also the high floor rooms to the south have a great view! I slept so well here. Very happy with my stay. Only one problem - breakfast ends at 10 and by 9:40am nothing hot was left at the buffet. It was a Sunday morning so as a weekend buffet more food should have been made available because not everyone wants to eat at 7 or 8am.

Hotel Continental Brno
Skvělý hotel v centru Brna kousek od starého města je vhodný jak pro cestování za byznysem, tak pro turistiku. Cena odpovídá kvalitě ubytování, resp. je ve velmi dobrém poměru cena-kvalita. Pokoje jsou čisté a velmi prostorné. Hotelové pokoje jsou velmi komfortně zařízené a pěšky se dostanete téměř kamkoliv. My jsme měli větší pokoj v osmém patře s úžasným výhledem na Špilberk a věže starého města. Výborní snídaně a měli jsme štěstí na parkování zdarma. Děkuji personálu, který byl velmi vstřícný a ochotný.

I had a good experience at the Hotel Continental. I stayed here for 4 nights to attend a conference at Masaryk University, which is really close to the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal to visit Brno’s landmarks on foot. The hotel definitely has a sixties vibe, but the rooms are clean are renovated. I stayed on the 12th floor and enjoyed a lovely panoramic view of the city. Although the room amenities are basic, they are sufficient. I appreciated the ample wardrobe, coffee maker, kettle, and minibar in the room. The hair dryer was not working, but it was not a big deal for me. They also provided robes and slippers, which I appreciated. The staff at the front desk were always polite, helpful, and responsive and spoke English. I appreciate the private sauna rooms, which are available at a moderate cost. I do not think this is an expensive hotel at all, so it’s great value. Is it worthy of 5 stars? Probably not, if compared to other upscale hotels like the Barcelo. However, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for solo travelers, and would probably stay here again when I’m back in Brno.

All single rooms provide the balcony, but the higher floors also the nice views of the city. The rooms are designed for business travellers so maybe smaller, but with all amenities expected. A Very Pleasant Stay
A very pleasant stay in Brno. The hotel is a very short walk to the old town and a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Very professional service. Room looked to be newly renovated (in a very orange motif), clean with a comfy bed. Excellent wifi and a decent breakfast. I would definitely stay there again when I am next in Brno.
