Close to Kew Gardens and Chiswick High Road; very good public transport connections into central London. However, Brentford is undergoing significant construction and rejuvenation so it isn’t an attractive destination in itself.
While visiting Syon, you might make a stop by sights like Syon Park and Thames River.

Its okay, I never really saw the area as arrived at the hotel and then got a taxi to where I needed to be.
