Toilet made a drilling noise when flushed. Was charged $100 deposit for smoking. When checking out the manager went to the room and asked if we smoked weed in the apartment when I said no she looked at the trash and said she was charging us $25. The housekeeper never took the trash and told us she didn't speak English when we asked her if she would take it. Will not be back to this place ever again!!! It was better when it was the red roof inn. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable and the AC wasn't working good either!!

I will recommend this hotel cause its nice, clean, and its a nice place to stay . Me and my bf had a nice time and we enjoyed our stay for 7 nights. Thanks to the friendly staff that was on duty during our stay.

I had to pay a security deposit, which has still not been returned to me after calling multiple times and discussing with three different employees. They're blaming it on Expedia, but after contacting Expedia my refund has still not been refunded. Expedia should not have this hotel on their website.

Awful. The most unprofessional desk clerk. Had no record of my paid reservations and offered no solution or even attempt to reconcile the situation. As I left, quite angry, my husband stayed to talk her into looking again as we paid in advance and had a show to be at in 30 minutes. After half an hour she claims the reservations just showed up. No remote control. No phone wire in the phone. None of the vending machines worked. There were no pillows in our bed and she had none to offer us. Most disgusting place and people I've ever dealt with. Will never return

Cheap. That’s about it.
Paint fumes made me sick. But at least they are trying to fix the place. The people are very friendly. The service is excellent. But the beds are old. They are trying to improve. If you just need a cheap place to stay. This works. The pool is out of order and they are going to fill it in. That’s a mistake but that’s how this place operates. On the cheap. I would stay again.

The room was filthy. There were holes in the walls. There were cobwebs in every corner. The door would not lock. There were bodily fluid stains on the walls next to the bed. Just filthy. Would not recommend at all.

The room was not stocked with any coffee supplies and the tub leaked water all over the floor. Not the cleanest I've ever seen, but also not the worst.

The front test staff was excellent working with me. My mother , while traveling, became extremely sick and had been transferred to a small area hospital . I had no idea how long I would be staying with her!( I came from Florida). They worked with me day to day. Room was very clean , coffee was great! And I felt safe being alone there.

The only complaint I have is we were unable to rent a recliner for my husband. The hotel didn’t have them and we couldn’t find a rental store that would provide one for two nights. My husband couldn’t sleep for 2 nights. But the bed was comfortable. And this is not a reflection on the hotel, just a suggestion.

The hotel is under renovations. There is no elevator, no breakfast, and whatever they’re using to “clean” the floors with is oily and gross.. do not walk on the floors with bare feet! The light above the sink was burned out and we were unable to get a bulb to replace, so we had to take the lamp from the desk to put on the counter to be able to see in the bathroom. Website says 2 pm check in, but desk has a very strict 3 pm check in. Good thing we were only there for one night.

The hotel is under construction, which was fine. We got to our room the door was prompt open. There was a horrible smell in the hallway and in the room. They had a fan blowing in the hallway that was right at our door. The shower was spraying water all over the place. Upon arrival there were no towels in the room we had to ask for them. Once they cleaned they left two towels for three people. Half of the frame of the door was missing.

While the front desk person was pleasant, the room itself was a mess. Top blanket was dirty, the coffee pot looked as it hadn't be cleaned ever, and the bath tub was yellow. Toilet was difficult to flush, walls were damaged, and the bath tub's faucet wasn't flush to the wall. I was only here for work, so I dealt, but if I'd had my family with me or been on holiday, we definitely would not have stayed.

Was suppose to be an accessible room and it was upstairs with no elevator. The tub leaked so the bathroom door was swollen due to water. Couldn't shut the door. Water was everywhere. The smell when you walked in the building was so strong and smelled awful. I know have sinus issues from it.

Not worth $100.00.
This place definitely needs attention. Starting with the horrid strong odor when you walk in which was equivalent to old lady perfume that burned your nose. Whatever it’s masking must be fowl. The stairwell was beyond gross. I can guarantee no one has wiped those walls since 89’. Sticky gross substance running down the wall and hand rail and busted ceramic chunks on the floor. Gross. Now the room itself… again, gross. The bed covers were filthy, the walls had huge chunks of scraped missing paint and they were disgusting, the floors were filthy with food crumbs and lots of pet hair. I’m glad it was a very quick stay. Definitely not worth $100 a night. There customer service was non existent. I think I only saw an employee behind the desk twice. Once when I checked in and again when I had to go ask if the ONE cold drink machine they had which was sold out was their only one. And that’s because the phone in our room was busted up. Overall 2 out of 10 and that’s only because I liked the pillows. Wouldn’t stay again that’s for sure.

Complaint are ignored
The AC in my room was knocking. It was so loud that I went to the front desk to complain. The African American lady at the front desk was nice enough to offer me a fan if I turned off the AC. the room was stuffy so I could not turn it off. I did not get any sleep and had another 10 hr drive ahead of me. The AC sounded like a truck with no muffler, to give you an idea. The next morning I went back to the front desk ask for the manager. He was not there. He would not be in until 11 per the Caucasian lady at the Desk. I told her my situation and she just said sorry. I left my name and number she told me he would call. Here it is Monday evening and he has not called. Now he is not going to be in again until Friday the 15th. What a run around. Lies just lies. I also wrote the cooperate office and all I received was a sorry for your inconvenience. This was the second time staying with this Hotel in Brandon Mississippi. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STAY AT THIS CHAIN. I would rather stay in a card board box in the rain than at this hotel chain. All I asked was for my money back. Nope I couldn’t even get that. I know word of mouth is the best advertising and this word of mouth is a warning. Your complaints and concerns will go ignored. I even recorded the AC as evidence. One thing about this reviewer is I will not stop until I get some reciprocity. Stay here if you want. YOU WILL NOT LIKE IT.

NO HOT WATER, BREAKFAST OR COFFEE IN ROOM
My one night stay included a room with NO HOT WATER. I realize they are under construction but the changes in lamps to nicer ones isn't going to get me ANY COFFEE SUPPLIES in my room (night lady made me a caraffe) The night lady was wonderful, hospitable and very nice about their ammenities lacking. Can't blame her. Also the entire breakfast area looked like they were going to have breakfast but THEY HAD NO TYPE BREAKFAST at all, not even yogurt or bagels. Sad sad stay.

Red Roof Inn in Brandon was a convenient location for our trip to Morton, MS but we did not feel safe in their parking lot. There was a lot of night time activity/loitering which seemed inappropriate for a reputable hotel. Also, we had an upstairs room and there was only one steep staircase to bring our things upstairs. The room was clean enough but the hall and stairs were unkempt.
