We made a reservation through Expedia and the hotel said that it had been cancelled but could not tell me who cancelled it. Obviously, I hadn't cancelled it nor had Expedia as I received an email from Expedia reminding me of my upcoming stay. However, for full price, Hampton was willing to let me stay but would NOT honor Expedia price. Thankfully, the rep from Expedia was extremely helpful and found us another hotel in the same area for our original price. Also, there were 2 families still awaiting rooms at 5:00 (check in was at 3:00) as their rooms were not ready. Glad we stayed somewhere else.
