Unique stay
We loved our time in Arles, very interesting small city. Very easy to see all the sights by foot from the hotel. Hotel is unique in its interior design and we loved it for a change. Ate in the restaurant which was excellent and staff very attentive and professional.

Lovely stay at Jules Cesar
Excellent stay at Jules Cesar. Friendly and helpful staff; comfortable, well-appointed rooms, large bathrooms and wonderful swimming pool. It’s centrally located on a main road so if you arrive and depart by taxi, you won’t have any problems. I can definitely recommend.

This hotel is beautiful and located in the center of the city. It is easy to walk to anything in Arles. The hotel is clean, cool, and very pretty. The pool and gardens are amazing! I have loved my stay here and am happy I extended my stay for 2 more days.

Handy Junior Suite was great for 2 adults and 2 kids. Only issue was the slight aroma of French drains everywhere it not sure the hotel could do much about that - hotel was super clean

This is an excellent hotel in a great location in Arles. Staff is very helpful and speak English fluently. Hotel appears to be recently remodeled.

A beautiful building, quirky decoration by Christian Lacroix. Lovely helpful friendly staff. Great selection at breakfast, dinner in the hotel was superb. Lovely to have an outdoor pool in a city location with shaded seating in garden areas. Walkable to all local sites and hundreds of restaurants.

Fantastic place to stay
Wonderful hotel. Absolutely stunning building, which the reception staff gave a little bit of information about as they showed us to our room. Location was fine for us. Arles seems to be a pretty small town and we were no more than five minutes walk from the amphitheatre which was main place we wanted to visit. We stayed in a junior suite - two adults and two kids, and the room was perfect with separate areas for us and the kids. Not sure if it applies to all of the rooms but in ours there were lots of freebies; a couple of little bottles of fizzy flavoured wine, soft drinks, sweets, macarons and even a little gift bag of camargue rice. Room service menu was very reasonable and the food nice, but unfortunately we didn't have more time to eat in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was fantastic (selection of cold meats and cheeses amazing including smoked salmon etc as well as all the standard breakfast things) and was very good value for us as kids eat free (something like 23euro per adult). Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Very small touches like bottles of water at checkout (it was really hot when we stayed) made a lasting impression. Only tiny thing that could be an issue for some people (though didn't matter for us) is that there are no toilets right next to the pool. Could just be slightly inconvenient for older people or very young kids as had to go back into hotel and up a level for toilets. Overall though couldn't rate highly enough. Fantastic.

Great location in center Arles, easily walkable to both the archeological sites (get the museum pass for cheaper and faster entrance) and the Van Gough walk, as well a many dining options. Old convent building, with modernism decorating style. Wonderful breakfast and spa. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Charming & distinctive hotel
Charming & distinctive hotel ideally positioned to explore Arles. It's housed in an old Carmelite Monastery so has plenty of character. Peaceful gardens & pool for when you'd like to soak up the sunshine! Room was generously large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all attentive and super helpful. Would highly recommend

The hotel was ideally situated with easy access by foot into the Old Town or by car into The Camargue. Rooms were clean but on the small side. We requested a bath tub in each of two rooms but this wasn’t available which was slightly disappointing. The public spaces and bar/restaurant terrace were lovely but the pool area was too small with not enough loungers for guests. Staff in the bar and restaurant were very helpful and charming. The reception staff however were a little dismissive.

Nice Hotel but could use some Updates
We had a pleasant stay. The friendliness of the staff members and the spa is what stands out with this hotel. The location is good and walkable to the train station. The room could use an update as the carpet was faded and even dirty in some places. The key to the wardrobe was missing, so it would make a loud noise every time we walked by. The shower is ridiculous, because there is no way not to get water all over the floor. The main reason I booked a room here was for the spa, and that did not disappoint. Josephine arranged the service for me, and was very friendly on my arrival. Peggy was the massage therapist, and was very understanding of my pregnant state. I contacted the concierge in advance for some tips on places to dine etc. that might be open (due to the holiday) and I simply never received a response which was disappointing.

The staff was very welcoming and give you a lovely regional gift at your departure. The building is remarkable in its own right. The junior suite was ok, not great (the shower door barrier had a cracked seal and leaked, the room thermostats did not respond to inputs, etc., no ramp for strollers or accessibility - an outside lift that you have to get someone from the hotel to operate). What was greatly appreciated and somewhat unique, was that windows all had screening and that is a huge plus. Good local option.

The architecture of the interior as well as exterior was grand. our room was large and grand. It was very comfortable and clean. It felt royal staying there! The superior rooms come with a luxurious amount of space and french windows. The bathroom tile was in the palette of Van Gogh. Superb location. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Staff were very nice. They gave us the perfect recommendation for a seafood dinner.

Quiet hotel, close to historic town centre
The hotel is quiet and the historic town centre is a few metres across the road. Easy to get to from the Autoroute and a good base from which to explore surrounding towns and countryside.

Unfortunately the room we were given was ground level overlooking some exterior grooming gear (looked like junk in a patchy/shabby backyard with bars on the window), was super tiny and two of the three shower pipes were literally falling out of the wall. Everything worked and our stay was pleasant enough, but all things considered we had a solid 3.5 star stay at best. The $225 we paid for what looked like the town’s top hotel was too high a price for what we received (not good value), but may be worth it if you can avoid room 106. Good hotel, very bad room 106.

The hotel is so beautifully designed , enjoy every minute during the stay, the staffs are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is superb. If the bed matress could be a bit firm , I could spend my rest life in there.

Hotel was out dated The color choice was too much and not relaxing The room / bathroom had no space to leave the toiletries and etc. the staff were not accommodating .
