“Holiday of a lifetime!”
The hotel & it's staff were of the highest quality. Nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately there was a little bit of refurbishment work going on during the time of our stay that took the shine off the lobby area but these things need to be done from time to time to keep the hotel in a manner that its customers expect. The location of The Langham is excellent & is in walking distance of all the major tourist attractions such as Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market, the waterfront, etc. It's also reasonably close to the subway stations for travel further afield. Personally I found the prices in the restaurant a bit expensive but as there are plenty of alternative dining locations close by it wasn't a major problem.
“Top quality in prime location”
We spent seven nights at the Langham, and could not fault it. Our room (a king room) was immaculate and well tended, bathroom large and luxurious, and hotel staff helpful without being intrusive. Location in the Financial District is ideal - quiet and refined in the evenings and weekends, but only a short walk to the onvious tourist locations (harbour, Quincy Market, Downtown Crossing and Boston Common.
“Excellent City Centre Hotel”
We stayed for one night in Oct 2008 before our return flight to the UK. Very high standards and friendly, helpful, professional staff. Our flight was in the evening so we checked out in the morning, walked the "Freedom Trail" during the day and returned to the hotel in the evening. The hotel kept our luggage and we used the leisure facilities [also excellent] to freshen up before we went to the airport - only a few minutes away. We can highly recommend The Langham for all travellers and is excellent value for this standard of accommodation.
“Wonderful experience”
This was not my usual level of hotel - partly chosen out of nostalgia as I used to work for the BBC when they owned the Langham hotel in London and because this was a special trip needing more than usual luxury. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful. It's spoiled me dreadfully!
“Absolute Luxury”
Our three night stay in the Langham, Boston, was one of the most enjoyable stays I have had in a hotel. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean as you may expect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the leisure facilities (Whirlpool, Swimming Pool, Sauna and Gym) were free to use and easy to access with separate towels and toiletries provided. I couldn't fault the hotel and will certainly be looking for availability on my next trip to the USA.
“Excellent birthday break.”
This was a birthday holiday. It met all my expectations. Hotel was wonderful - the staff very courteous and helpful. Well located to get to loads of places i.e. waterfront, Quincey Market, Boston Common etc. Cannot wait to go back.
“Boston Bonanza”
Quite luxurious hotel in a reasonably quiet area, but only a few blocks from all the action in Faneuil Hall - really enjoyed getting into our robes and having room service dinner after a long day sightseeing. Hotel rooms can feel a bit dark, but there are high office blocks around it. Not cheap, but very comfortable
“Totally brilliant hotel, 100% recommended!”
The hotel is right in the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the shops and is extremely beautiful with any requests totally catered for. The hotel is upgarded us on arrival and the rooms amenities were far better than I ever could have imagined. The room was clean, there is a pool and spa and anything you need you will find at this hotel. Totally recommended!!!
“Wonderful hotel”
The Langham Hotel is located in Post Office Square which is a 5 minute walk to Quincy Market, the harbour, downtown, etc. It is elegant. Comfy bed and room. Good restaurant. Bar was okay but prefer The Last Hurrah at the Parker House Hotel for drinks. Good rates on the weekends but pricy for the rest of the week.
“One of the best hotels I have stayed in”
This hotel was superb: great value at weekends, especially with Expedia voucher for breakfast. Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and the room was really comfortable, with exceptional maid service.
