"It would be hard to use words to describe how much i hated this hotel. there wasn’t anyone at the desk when i checked which i guess they don’t care about because you have to use a kiosk to check yourself in, then use the rfid machine to make your own key card. i did all that and went to the 7th floor with all my stuff and found that the key was for the wrong room. had to go back and re key. the room is absolutely the opposite of spacious. smaller than any NYC hotel i’ve stayed. the bed is shoved into the back of the room like a train bed. you have to lay down sideways to watch the tv and if you have someone with you they have to crawl over you to get out of the bed. you can then switch perpendicular to sleep but that leaves the bedside table at your feet. no glassware in the room. the desk, is maybe a foot wide at most and puts your back to the tv so if you want to work and watch cnbc you’re out of luck. the technology that controls the shades, lights and media works sporadically at best. this is the worse hotel experience i’ve had in a long time and i travel a lot. put on top of that the room rate which was exorbitant and it gets worse. there are too many hotels in boston to have to deal with this place. you’d be better off in a hostel.
