Pros: very well maintained and staffed, easy valet (not free) parking and nice breakfast service (also not free). If you’re visiting Boston College to see your student or a game, the campus is literally across the street. Public transportation is also across the street. The room we stayed in was very clean and well appointed. Cons: Located at an extremely busy intersection. While the rooms are very nice the a/c cannot be set below 67 degrees and the cooling unit struggles to keep it there (and is extremely loud). Obviously not a problem in the Fall and Winter seasons, but I can’t possibly see being comfortable during late Spring and in Summer. All the bathroom towels have a weird burnt/chemical smell to them. And, finally, it’s very overpriced for a hotel not located in the heart of Boston (but what place isn’t now).

On Tuesday morning we asked for our room to be serviced and were told it would be. When we came back that night no one had touched it - bed unmade, used towels unchanged and no tissues. Hotel is well set up for visitors and staff was polite but no excuse for not servicing our room after we asked it be done

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. We would especially recommend the breakfast experience because the buffet offers great pastries and other choices, and the wait staff makes a big effort to be helpful.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was very attentive and courteous, helping us with anything we needed. Valet parking (only option) was quite expensive but the bar and restaurant and breakfast were wonderful.
