"Exceptional service and generally superb attitude, friendliness and care. Always available staff. Great character and design. Slight issue with room 3 being facing road and bright light of signage into window. The sound was loud with window open but that was our preference for fresh air. Wouldn’t be issue if you’re happy to not. Breakfast was lovely and has all you need hot or cold. Great location."

"Excellent hotel, service was amazing and it is in the very heat of Bordeaux. In walking distance to nearly all attractions. Spa and sauna/ steam room are therapeutic and beautiful, rounding the day off with a visit to the roof top bar with is gorgeous views over the roof tops of Bordeaux. "

"Beautifully decorated, maintained and immaculate. The room was made up perfectly every day, cleaned and fresh towels. Good breakfast selection of eggs, sausage, bread, fruit, meats, fish, yogurt. First hotel I've been to that has a fresh orange juicer. Very convenient location with short walk, about 10 minutes to city center, 5 minutes to tram, 10 minutes to the Gironde River."

"Be careful upon checking in. We showed up and waited outside for fifteen minutes before anyone came to the door and let us in. We were kinda freaking out not knowing what to do. Only one employee working so if they are checking someone else in or showing them to their room you are kinda left outside. Room was wonderful. "

Our room was on the lower level of the building which meant we had access to a small private patio and to the larger, public courtyard. We spoke with another guest who was staying in a private villa off the courtyard so there are a variety of rooms available.The convenience of the buffet breakfast made for an easy start to our day.
