The Outstanding Performance in a leading role for Boracay resorts at the perfect price point goes to…Aqua Resort! For the price this hotel is more than a home run. The pool is close to perfection, the online photos don’t do it justice. If you’re a sit around the pool person, this is your place. We booked the jr suite pool view, and in the US it would be considered a luxury one bedroom apartment. Spacious, thoughtful design, good WiFi, lots of bottled water and coffee. The bed is very comfortable. The resort is a short walk to everything, and you can get away from it all by walking back. The white sand resorts seemed very tight and lacked any sunshine on the pools. In fact, some of the more expensive hotels there had no sun on the pools. The beach behind Aqua is private and quiet, with a boardwalk and a few bars and restaurants. The service is top notch. Everyone was friendly and attentive, doing their best to make sure we had everything we needed. So, property, pool, room, location, and service are all way better than what you are paying for. If you’re looking for pool food and drink service or 5 star food, you should book one of the 400.00 USD resorts up north. The food and drinks are appropriate for this price point (we are from the US and would pay much more for this level of quality at home.) But I would not consider the quality of the food in the luxury category. There is no service at the pool. You’ll need to walk up to the pool bar to order drinks or food.

The hotel is very nice, clean and friendly staff. Everything is closed by, 5 minutes transportation the center of Boracay. Love this place. I would love to stay here again.

Fantastic place on the quieter side of Boracay but only a 5min walk to the D-Mall. Staff super friendly. Buffet breakfast delicious with many varied options that change daily. Great pool and gym facilities. Rooms spacious and clean. Can’t wait to come back!!

This property is a gem and probably the best hotel stay I’ve ever had in the Philippines. The hotel is right on top of a beautiful beach, has 2 amazing pools, is very clean and has amazing views. 5 star hotel at a great price, staff is friendly and helpful, private airport shuttle is available. They just need more dining options for room service and breakfast dining, and the balcony glass should be cleaned. Overall wonderful stay and will book here again for our next Boracay visit!

Pros - all staff lovely and friendly - hotel transfer and boat was a first class service - pool area is lovely - rooms are big and match pictures - decent gym Cons - room configuration means you back on to neighbours bedroom and walls are not sound proof, lots of sleepless nights through noise - i got food poisoning from room service one night , would appear pizza was defrosted and not fresh - breakfast was poor vegetarian options - kitchen was poorly equipped with no real ability to cook

First time visiting Boracay and enjoyed our stay at Aqua Boracay. Stayed in junior suite with balcony. Grounds and pool were great as well as very comfortable room with king bed. Easy walk to DMall and white beach on west side of island. Hotel is on east or windward side of island and lots of wind surfer activity on that side. Not much of a swimming beach but a 10-15 minute walk then you are at white beach with clear water and great swimming. I enjoyed staying in the east side as it was much quieter than the hotels along white beach area and DMall. It was our oasis after visiting the much busier west side. Tuk Tuk rides from DMall area to hotel was 100 pesos. Staff was very friendly and attentive and would recommend this hotel for couples or families.

Hotel property was clean, staff was really nice. There were couple things that we didn’t like at all, and others didn’t write about it for some reason. 1. BEACH IS NOT SWIMMABLE LIKE NEVER. they only do kite boarding and you can never swim there, always have to go to the DMall side to swim. #2. Everyday you have to call and request room service, if you forgot to call them, they will not come to clean the room, or even bring you towels. Which was inconvenient when you come home at 9-10pm and there are no clean towels to shower, which they only give you 2 towels per room. #3. Breakfast was so so, we only ate there 2/8 days, not much choices, and what ever they had was either too salty or no salt at all, we went to other breakfast places outside the hotel. There is room to grow for this hotel, but over all it’s very clean and nice.

Really great hotel and perfect price point. Everything looks modern and pleasing to the eye. Free hourly shuttle every hour. Breakfast buffet is just right; not too much and not too little. The staff is perfect. They are very helpful in making a stay at Aqua memorable. The cleanliness here is impeccable. Wish I could have gotten a top floor unit, but that’s just a personal preference that doesn’t affect my stay. I hope they upkeep the place and they don’t let it just begin to run down like all the other once beautiful hotels in the area.

My sister and I stayed at Aqua Boracay for 4 nights and it didn’t disappoint. What a wonderful hotel in Boracay. It’s not in the White Beach area, but it didn’t matter. There is a shuttle by the hour to take you to Dmall about 5 minutes away. The place is spacious unlike the cramp hotels by the beach. I booked a deluxe room but they gave us a 2nd floor location facing another building. I requested a room change and they were nice to switch to a same category but higher floor where there is ocean view. I encourage to book a room with a view upon reservation. Breakfast is wonderful, lots of selection. The room is impeccable, very clean. If you like kiteboarding, this is the place to be, a short walk behind the hotel you will find rentals as well as lessons. The best part are the staff members, they take care of you with everything you need, always with a smile and very polite. I booked a round trip transfer through the hotel. They pick you up at the airport with their hotel van to take you to the port where their speed boat is waiting to take you the the Boracay Island, then another ride to the hotel. I had a great 4 nights of R & R and will definitely come back.

The place looks like a luxury scene from a James Bond movie was set there and the staff smile a lot. The odd thing is the service is not delivered seamlessly. You have to ring reception everyday if you want your room serviced everyday, no one asked us if we wanted anything as we sat by the pool even though staff walked by us. The one example that set me on edge though was ordering a made coffee at breakfast. They asked me 4 times for my room number during the ordering process, then when it arrived they asked me to write my number on the bill. Maybe trivial issues but not ones you expect from a hotel that boasts 5 star service
