"Loved our 2 night visit! The pool was amazing. We loved our complimentary boat ride along the bay. Lincoln was a great captain! Great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was fun too! I loved all the activity options and enjoyed the beautiful gardens!"
Topside Inn

"Our room and the property were as expected from the photos with the exception of an unusually strong chemical “air freshener” smell that was used (presumably) to mask the smell of something else. In addition, the air conditioner was on full blast when we walked in, so the room was strangely cold. We were tired, but tried to open all of the windows and the door to try to air out the room and turned off the air conditioner. After about an hour, the smell did not go away so we reached out to management, who were completely unhelpful. They offered us a fan or a change of rooms to a much smaller room with a much smaller bed. They did not walk the 50 feet to the room to better understand the problem or offer a similar room without the cleanup problem. They gave us the impression that they could really care less. In addition to the strange smell and the immovable management team, the floor was dirty (we know this because we wiped up the water that spilled from the free standing tub in the bedroom and the towel we used to wipe up the water was filthy afterward) which led us to believe that perhaps a dog had been in the room before us. All in all, it’s a cute property but we would never go back. At nearly $500/night, we had hoped for more."

"Everything exceeded our expectations. Property was very well kept, and the Inn Keepers were very attentive and friendly, as well as provided good recommendations for the area. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional - we did not expect such a great breakfast (e.g, Belgian Chocolate waffles, fruit, as well as oatmeal with fresh fruit and a granola/muesli type topping (plus coffee, juices, sausages..). We ate breakfast outside overlooking the water. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"The room was attractive, spacious, and easy to get into with the room codes. It was also close enough to downtown to walk to many places. The room heater would be my only criticism. It would come on to the desired temperature and shut off once it was reached. The room would then get very cold before it clicked back on and so it was up and down for the entire stay. At times it was distracting."
