This was the most incredible hotel I ever stayed in. It had the most friendly, helpful, flexible personnel. One of the children with us developed a tooth ache -- Friday evening. While our Hungarian insurance told us to search on the internet, the receptionist of the hotel phoned around Bonn for about 30 min until he found a dentist who accepted us immediately. The rooms were nice, and tastefully decorated, like the entire hotel. I especially liked the historic travel posters along the staircase. The breakfast buffet was very good, the plates were filled up continuously.

Decent hotel with proper amenities for the price
Small, decent hotel which is located conveniently in the city centre. Reasonably priced, regular breakfast, no 24-hour-service.

Friendly service, basic amenities, basic set-up, my room faced a rather busy street but the windows kept noise out. It is small, basic and very conveniently located. Very friendly young stuff and surprisingly good coffee (really excellent, and I am picky) at the breakfast buffet.

Great location, lovely staff
Easy book in. We were able to park our car in their garage. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Really friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great value.

Great Stay at a Great Value
My husband and I spent one night at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with our room. The double room was much bigger and in spotless condition than expected, given the reasonable price. The hotel is very central and close to all major sites. Excellent breakfast included and staff is super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Enjoyable Hotel Rheinland
The service is great at Hotel Rheinland, friendly and informative. We were greeted with coffee and tea, and answers to our questions about the area and airport transit. The breakfast is small but good. Rooms need a little updating, but were very clean.

Sorry, but the hotel is very outdated and uncomfortable. Only two tiny little parking spots for 9 Euro! The Bonn-Altstadt is great you have to see it.

Good value hotel with free wifi and continental breakfast. In an ok location- 5/20mins walk to old town, 5 min walk to Rhein. If you like hookha then it's surrounded by them! The staff were very friendly and helpful especially at breakfast which was good with choice of coffees as well as the traditional 'continental' type breakfast food- you won't go hungry! The rooms are spacious (mine was a twin) with a desk also. I was right by the lift and thought it would be noisy- it wasn't. Beds very comfy but the shower was a NIGHTMARE!! Either it was boiling hot or freezing cold! I had to wash in the few seconds it was lukewarm whilst going from these extremes! Not sure what they do when they 'service' the room other than make your bed and give you new towels-not taking the old ones away mind! I ended up with 8, even though I wanted to reuse mine to be green! Bins were not emptied nor empty bottles/dirty glasses removed. No AC but then I don't really like AC and it was OK to sleep- just hot getting dressed on a few occasions. Other than these last minor points I would recommend if on a budget and you need breakfast and wifi included in the price!

Perfect for our stay.
Hotel was ideal location for seeing everything, shopping restaurants and transport links. We were visiting our son who stays in Bonn and found Bonn easy to negotiate our way round. Staff were excellent, we asked for a kettle and they provided one along with cups, we had our own tea and coffee. Fridge in room was excellent. Room had everything we needed and was spotless, shower was very good. The breakfast was continental as expected but had a range of food and plenty of it, staff were attentive. This is a 3 star hotel and was perfect for our needs.

Ideally located to explore Bonn
Steps from the Kennedy Bridge over the Rhein River, from Bonn University, and from the NE corner of the old city, the Beethoven House etc. Small but attractive and functional rooms, standard complimentary German breakfast.

Hotel closed when I showed up!
I booked this hotel online when my client asked me to stay another night in Bonn. I showed up at the hotel around 12:15am local time, and the door was locked. I rang the buzzer and it went to an answering machine. I also called the hotel and it went to an answer machine. Note that for this review I set everything to "3" because there was no NA option available. I wish the hotel and hotels.com would be clear on the hours they're open to accept guests. Most hotels that I travel to have a reception that is open 24/7. It is a safety concern to be in a foreign country and be locked outside on the street. I am still awaiting a refund/reimbursement for the difference of my actual hotel stay that night.

Good value overall
The room was clean; the service was excellent; the breakfast buffet was good, if (surprise! surprise) very Continental in fare. On the downside, the rooms are tiny (as is quite usual for German hotel rooms, unless you wanted to spend ridiculous amounts of money), there is no AC, and the street outside is so noisy that opening the window while in the room is not an option. (They are really impressive windows, though, as you can hardly hear the noise at all when they're closed.)

nice, affordable, and very comfortable hotel
the reception is at the 2nd floor (1st American), so this is not the Hilton, but for the rest an impeccable and still affordable little hotel. The room was definitely worth more than its price, and the breakfast was good and available until 11am (rather than improbable times like 9am): would definitely come back!

The room was small but not crowded. Free internet was a plus as well as a generous breakfast. Although on a main road, the room was quiet and very convenient to the Bonn center with its shops and restaurants. Also convenient to public transportation. Overall a good value and experience

A Hotel for a Satisfying Stay
Nice cozy, small room, with everything in good condition. Breakfast was nice as well; wasn't extravagant, so might not be satisfactory by some standards, but it was absolutely good enough for me.

Got there and I though booking a double bedroom for myself would guarantee a bigger bed, however, I got a single with a twin sized bed. The hotel was basic. The room smaller than a cruise cabin. Strange place. Would not stay there again, nor I recommend anyone to stay there.
