“Recommended and central”
Close to the centre (but next to a market on Saturday that turns into loud disco music until 8pm) Very comfortable with massive bed Only complaint - the electronic key often had to be remagnetised at reception, with a shrug of the shoulders
“Great City, Great Hotel”
All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location - easy walking to the city centre and to the station for day trips to Ravenna, Forli, Ferrara etc. Bologna's a great city - sightseeing, food, drink, markets, shops and people - it pretty much has it all!
“Certainly would return”
The hotel was in an excellent location, especially as we wanted to explore nearby cities by train. The station was within easy walking distance and the centre of Bologna was very close too. There were some excellent restaurants very close or within a few minutes walk. My friend and I had single rooms which were very comfortable with air conditioning and had adequate space for one person. The breakfast was good and we thought the hotel offered good value.
“Great Location”
This was a good quality 3 star hotel and has a great location being approximately equidistant from the train station and the main square. The bus stop to/from the airport is just a short walk to the hotel. The barista is a very obliging man and is only too happy to make excellent coffees for you at breakfast. On the down side- they wanted to charge 5 euros for 1 hour to use their computer and it has no printer! You have to use the printer in the sister hotel next door. I found a Happy Internet nearby which took 1 euro. The hotel needs to get a grip and get that sorted fast...

“Zanhotel Reginna: you get what you pay for so it's worth it.”
Right in the middle of where you would want to be. Walking distance to a multitude of shops, cafes, bars, and beautiful sights to see. 20 minutes in a cab from the airport, and about 15 minutes to Stadio Renato Dall Ara. It's an excellent location but it's a 3 star hotel, so don't expect wondrous and magical rooms. It is a very solid 3 star hotel though, and all the staff spoke good English, with 2 being practically fluent.
“Central but not Comfortable”
Although the hotel is central, the rooms were dated and the bathroom has mildew, which could have been dealt with. The room smelled dank when first opening. The air conditioning was woefully inadequate, which offered no respite from a hot day of sightseeing or a restful night of sleep. On the plus, the sheets were clean. The hotel is close to the centre and the train station.
“After a dodgy start we had a pleasant stay at Hotel Regina”
We were allocated two single rooms on the first floor. Room 135 had a small window that opened onto an awful internal space. When the window was left open we returned to a terrible smell of drains. Room 132 was similar except the smell was less unpleasant. Both of these rooms were extremely dingy and in need or refurbishment. We complained about these rooms and were moved to second floor rooms the following morning. These rooms were much nicer and we thorougly enjoyed the rest of our stay. Staff were on the whole very helpful.
“Bologna's cheapest most central hotel.”
Hotel was easy to find from the Railway station, bit busy on Market days. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Some of the reception staff were unhelpful at time - in that we had an early flight and they were unable to serve breakfast for 4 people at 6.45 instead of 7.00am. when they were setting the tables at this time. Other than that a good break
“not impressed”
Very unhappy with our room considering the extortionate price (the prices are hiked up for the trade fairs). The twin room was tiny, stuffy and dreary and the beds were hard.
