Enjoyed our start at the Royal Hotel Carlton. The proximity to the Central train station was convenient for our arrival from Florence as well as our departure to the airport the next day. Room was huge we got a suite; the bathroom was very spacious. We had two balconies and the living room area was extensive. Furniture in that room needs updating but we weren’t there much but appreciate the space. Walking distance to Center. Breakfasts could have had more alternatives but was enough for those who eat pastries and cheese in the morning. The coffee was tough to drink. Overall loved it
