Our stay at the Townsman was a pleasant surprise. While the exterior is the typical old school motel, the room itself was very nice. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. No coffee maker, but the office serves coffee starting at 5am. If you are passing through Boise City, OK, recommend the Townsman and the good Mexican food place about a block away.

This motel is a clean, no frills place. The room was clean and had everything you needed and everything worked. The surrounding area was what’d you expect in the middle of the Oklahoma plains. There’s a gas station across the street and you can walk to DQ. The bed was functional but not comfortable.

We were making a cross- country trip, it was late at night, and we were desperate for a room. We had our active-duty daughter's 2 cats with us as she's about to deploy and needs us to care for them, so no hotels would take us. The Townsman to the rescue! They were sold out of pet-friendly rooms but took us anyway. Wonderful wonderful folk!! The room was very clean, the bed comfy, and both the bathroom and bedroom were large too. Wonderful staff and a nice room for a great price. Thank you, Townsman!

The staff were incredibly flexible, as well as friendly. The rooms were nice, especially for if you have animals. I would come back to this place every single time if given the option.

This is an older but well Kept property. Our room was clean with sufficient towels and outlets to rechange our tablets and cell phones. Staff was friendly and professional. WiFi was solid. A good, basic, no frills motel that will not disappoint..

This was a last minute reservation on our trip hime. What a wonderful gem! Townsman is an older motel with some updates and a few of the original fixtures to give it character. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the AC was cold!

Quiet, clean roadside motel
We were looking for a place to spend the night on a long road trip and this was the perfect spot. The rates were very reasonable, it couldn’t have been more conveniently located, and the lady who checked us in was efficient and nice even though we got in pretty late. The motel is definitely no-frills but it was VERY clean and it had everything we needed. I’m not sure how many other people were staying near us but we never heard a sound from anyone else. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. No complaints whatsoever, would definitely stay here again.

We had no problem checking in. The parking lot situation was a mess. We could not park by our room. We saw a few live bugs in our bathroom by the tub. A person who took our trash took a Coca-Cola bottle off the dresser that my son was saving from our trip.

I wanted a place to stay that didn’t cost 200.00. This worked great to get some sleep in a clean bed and linens were clean as well as the bathroom. Lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Very decently priced compared to other places and it’s right on the trans America trail. (TAT). For those doing the TAT, this works out perfect.

Perfect place to pull in and stay. Room was very clean and had a good tv fridge and microwave. After staying at a couple hilton hotels that were terrible, this was the best place I stayed my whole trip.
