After prepaying online was charged a “resort fee” upon checking in. A resort fee at a motel? Was told it was for coin operated laundry, fish cleaning station, pool and hot tub. Hot tub broken. Seems like many places have a pool and don’t charge a resort fee.

The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and efficient, The beds were clean and comfortable. The location is at the center of the city with some restaurants around. I like it’s pet- friendly and there is a dog park in the back. There were some hair left in the bath tub. Some guests did not pick up after their dogs. Hope the staff can find out who they are and charge them for their inconsiderate action. Overall it’s a good place and would recommend highly

Only issues were with standard fixtures in bath - low-to-floor toilets are difficult for older folks and shower heads are too high up for shorter folks to reach. We don't need a handicapped room but this seems to be something we encounter at other properties as well. Otherwise room was clean, quiet and very nice. We have stayed here often.

I forgot to ask for any kind of ADA type room. We checked in late, and were assigned a 2nd floor room. There is no elevator. My FIL had trouble getting up and down the stairs. I don't know if they have ADA rooms.

Everything was great. Staff was great. I got the downstairs room as requested. But the two stars is for the carpet in room 103. I won’t go on, but that rug is way too worn and stained than should be allowed Bordering on dirty nauseating. There was an issue of whether I had reserved two rooms. I had not. The girl who checked us and said she would take care of it, and it looks like it was. Not the hotel’s fault, but Expedia’s. So, if I hadn’t had to look down, 5 stars around. Except Expedia.

Vagabond shows a "total" price that includes all taxes and fees. Then, if you read all the fine print, they say that you need to pay an extra $5 fee when you check in. I can afford an extra $5, but I dislike this dishonesty. I won't stay there again. Bedroom was nice and bed was comfortable. Heater/air conditioner was so high on the wall I needed to stand on a chair to see and adjust the controls.
