central area with nice restaurant and clubs across the street. No light in the hallway and I thing they recycle the days before french toast so it was rubbery. Staff barged into my room at 830 pm while I was sleeping. they have keys to all the room so I feel one hast to be safe with valuable. good for the price. I am sure if I got sick at the hotel or before i went there but i was miserable

It’s a bit run down with dirty carpets and dusty surface areas. One day elevator didn’t work for a bit. The lobby is shabby. the front desk staff refused to give us second room key without explaining a reason. Breakfast was listed to be free on Expedia, but turned out to be not.

Very good option for Bishkek
Everything was quite pleasant with my stay. Room comfortable and A/C was a nice reprieve from unusually hot June weather. Overall good value.

Room had a musty odor so we had to keep the window open. Breakfast buffet was cold and essentially empty on the 1st day even with 45-60 minutes left. On the 2nd day, we arrived at opening (early flight ) and there was enough food, but it was already stale and cold. We booked a covid test onsite for the next am and they called us at 11:15pm (woke us up) to tell us that the onsite ones arent available on sunday-how did they not know this ahead and/or why tell us so late when we booked it around 11am for the next day. Great location to walk downtown. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is very comfortable and good value. The staff are amazingly helpful, hospitable, kind: from the reception staff, to the cleaning staff, everyone is great. Excellent breakfast. Very useful to have pool, gym, sauna in basement. Highly recommended - I will always stay here when in Bishkek

Beware. Your booking is NEVER confirmed here !
Terrible . You may regret yuor reservation at this hotel . We were a group of 9 people who made a booking at this hotel in the month of June 2019 . As per the terms , the booking should have been charged for in August , but they took full payment at the time of making the booking itself . Inspite of making a booking 3 months in advance , we checked in at the hotel and were told the next morning that we would be shifted to a chines hotel because ' there were urgent repair works ' taking place in the hotel . We explained to the staff that we were going to be out all day , and they were free to enter the rooms and make repairs as required. When we arrived from our sightseeing, we were astonished to find that our bags were packed and kept in the lobby . They actuall entered our rooms in our absence , dumped everybodys stuff into their respective bags and kept the bags in the lobby for checkout. When one person who had the key , she found other people in her room, a clear indication that the hotel had booked other guests with overbookings . we made a big noise but it was of no use. The manager is the biggest chicken of the lot. He sent a 1 month old trainee to handle the situation whilst he stood behind the curtain and watched the show. And not a word of apology. Nightmare

Inhospitable Liars Who Do Not Honor Reservations
I had a reservation for this hotel (through Hotels.com and used free nights to secure the reservation); however, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that, yes, that had received my reservation, but no I could not stay there. I was told at first that I could not stay there because there was "an important conference" there and they needed my room. When I angrily confronted them that they had sold my room, the concierge started stuttering that no, no of course not that, um, um, um, my room was being repaired and they had no space. This hotel has the best location in Bishkek for sightseeing, which is why I reserved the hotel. They, however, put me in another hotel hell and beyond from the center of town in a terrible suburb. Hollywood could easily use that part of town for its next post-apocalyptic zombie movie and not have to change much in the neighborhood. Crumbling homes, abandoned buildings, boarded up businesses was the norm ... along with drunks passed out on the sidewalk on either side of the hotel. They claimed it was in a "great" part of town (a lie), that it was a "great" hotel (another lie), and that it was easy to access downtown (yet another lie). I found a taxi in this hell hole and he wanted the equivalent of US$ 30 to go into the center of town -- considering it costs US$ 10 from the airport (45 minutes from town), that tells one how far I was. Kyrgyzstan is known for its hospitality, this hotel is the antithesis of that and ruined my time in Bishkek.

Easily our worst stay ever in Bishkek. Staff are not overly friendly, managers are impossible to find and small-minded in their attitudes, breakfasts items are offered slightly above room temperature, VIP rooms have noisy plumbing. There are far better offerings nearby.

Decent hotel
A decently renovated hotel situated in a nice location. Problems with WiFi connection, high quality breakfast if compared with international brand hotels, mediocre quality breakfast if compared with other local (non-international branded) hotels. The security guy was trying to establish an eye-contact every time I enter the building - reminded me about post-soviet "bandit-culture" from 90-ies. Very good cleaning team. Helpful personnel at the reception. Nice sauna with pretty big pool.

Exquisite Relaxed Opulence at Plaza Hotel Bishkek
Excellent English speaking staff committed to clients’ every need. Lovely Kyrgyzst people! Relaxed atmosphere excellent & quick room services. Why else would the Sheikh of Dubai’s Nomad Games (entire team) book all the suites (they know excellent service & facilities-hence I missed out getting my suite with bath tub) Incomparably low prices for great dining delicious cooking even had my 2 choices of white wines (Torrontes & Torres) for a country not religious owned for wines... Very clean spacious & luxurious rooms! Every comfort is catered for And my in-house Kyrgyzst (strong & detailed Physio therapist masseur) Thai massage is better quality and accurately delivered than anywhere globally even better than in Thailand! The moment you arrive at the entrance it is grandeur but has refreshingly bright reception spaces lots of luxurious leather seating even have an auto shoe polish! The experience is opulence without the fuss ! GBP pound & US dollars buys a lot in Kyrgyzstan so we should all be holidaying in Bishkek! An experience I will repeat and whole heartedly recommend. (only one complaint- don’t like the Kyrgyzst Spotted Sea Bass but that’s not their fault if their fisheries are by nature not the flat sea bass variety) A great place to have an excellent hoteling experience! Top marks!

Great hotel in Bishkek
The hotel is very nice for Kyrgyzstan. The staff was excellent. Friendly, professional and very helpful for any questions. The only real problem is that the A/C is not up to fighting the 100 degree summer temperatures. August may not be the best time to stay there but I will definitely be considering this hotel for my next trip.

WE HAD BOOKED A JUMIOR SUITE AND PAID FOR IT BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED WE WERE TOLD IT WAS NOT AVAIABLE WE WERE PUT IN A DREADFUL ROOM WITH NO CHAIR /NO CUPS/NO TEA ETC AND WAS NOT PARTICULARLY CLEANWE WERE PROMISED THE ROOM WE HAD BOOKED WOULD BE AVAILABLE THE NEXT MORNING SO WE RE-PACKED, READY TO MOVE THAT MORNING AND CANCELLED APPOINTMENTS. WE WAITED BUT NOTHING HAPPENED AND EVENTUALLY, AFTER COMPLAINING AGAIAN, WE WERE GIVEN A DECENT ROOM (NOT THE ROOM WE HAD BOOKED-BUT ONE WHICH WAS FINE) THE ROOM WAS NOT PROPERLY CLEANED EVERY DAY IF WE WERE IN THE ROOM WHEN THE MAIS ARRIVED, WHE JUST EMPTIED THE BUCKET AND OFFERED CLEAN TOWELS

Everything was lovely. Shower stall thing was a bit weird and broken but everything else was lovely. Oh if you get a massage it’s in the basement out in the open next to the pool. Which is bizarre. But overalll lovely and reasonably priced. WiFi worked well.

A bit unfair to review the hotel at this time as they are having works being carried out and I could not get the full compliment is services and facilities. The staff do their utmost to please their guests. I had booked a junior suite which was unavailable when I arrived but after a little chat, I had a free upgrade to a superior suite. There were problems with the plumbing and air con. I am sure that was only a temporary situation and I have no hesitation in saying I will be returning in a couple of months and I am sure then I will have no room for complaint.

Very good but tricky for working purposes
Bedroom could have done with a table/desk I could have worked from. I use my laptop to type up meeting notes and I need this for about 3-4 hours a day. That requires a desk; 30 mins I can manage on the bed but longer than that need a proper chair and desk. Other than that; very good - lovely staff.

Probably one of the best hotels in Bishkek. Unlike most other places in the country, it has great WiFi access on all floors (even the patio). Pool and sauna, comfy bed.

A great balance between price and quality
Overall, I had a good experience during the 3 nights I stayed at Plaza Hotel. The biggest plus was a comfortable bed. The biggest minus was slow Internet (enough just to check emails and messages).

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was huge, clean, and beautifully appointed. The only drawback was the room temperature. Because it was winter, the air conditioning was not turned on and our room never got cool enough to be really comfortable. The staff at this hotel are exceptionally nice, friendly, helpful, and efficient.. you could not ask for a better staff. Hotel is really clean and quiet, located very convenient to downtown and about 20-25 minutes from the airport. I highly recommend!!

All great except Wi-Fi
The Hotel and the room were very good ,the only reservation I have is the Wi-Fi , I stayed on the 4th floor ( every floor has its own free wi-fi ) but the signal kept dropping and regardless of which floor's wi-fi I connected to ,it just would not connect due to weak signal. The only place I had a good reception was the Restaurant on the 2nd floor. another thing was the fact that the cleaning crew simply forgot to clean my room on one day. Otherwise, everything was perfect and very reasonably priced , I can recommend this hotel

Nice hotel close to center
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reception even "fronted" me the money to pay for my taxi when neither the driver nor they had change for the large bank notes I got from the ATM. My room was pleasant and comfortable. I had a very early checkout--in the middle of the night to catch an early morning flight--and they offered to prepare an early breakfast or give me a "lunchbox" to take. I like to walk, and the location was close enough to walk to the center of the city and not need taxis.
