Breakfast is over at 9am. Way too early. Not even coffee to offer in the lobby. They have a bar area with Starbucks but it was closed. Also the WiFi was horrible

The hotel was not the cleanest. The staff member that checked me in was very nice and helpful. Other than that the cleaning crew took my wash clothe that was very clearly not the hotels and did not even replace us with enough afterwards. My biggest issue was that I was charged twice. I checked in on Friday and on Sunday, check out day I was charged again for our stay. Hotel staff it would drop off in a few days and there was nothing they could do about it. I asked to speak with a manager and was told she was unavailable and there was nothing she would be able to do about either. So my money is held up for days because they went through and charged me again in the night audit or something like that they said but they fix it.

I had no working toilet in my 3rd floor room. I was told to use the restrooms on 1st floor. Went to use 1st floor public bathroom. One toilet out of service. 2nd toilet overflowing. The last one occupied so came back later and that toilet was clogged. For $200 I should of been able to use my rooms bathroom. Complained to front desk was told someone would contact me. Never happened. Disgusting

Facilities badly need remodeling, sheets were dingy no shampoo in dispenser, breakfast seating inadequate, milk was soured for children’s cereal, breakfast way average to below average

Sink stopper was stuck so sink would not drain. Staff knew it was broken. Carpet very dirty. Very old amenities Everything in the hotel was old and dirty. AC was so noisy we had to shut it off. The staff was helpful.

I had a remarkable stay at Hyatt Place Hoover, AL, largely thanks to Kimberly at the front desk. Faced with a tight schedule for a funeral, I arrived early, and Kimberly went out of her way to accommodate me, ensuring I had a room in time. Her empathy and professionalism were exceptional and made a difficult day much easier. The hotel itself was great, but it’s the people like Kimberly that truly make a difference. Highly recommend!

The evening crew was not helpful at all. Had to ask twice for sheets for the fold-out sofa. They had a bar but they didn't know or they didn't seem interested in making the drink I requested. Lights in the bathroom sink area didn't work. On a positive note, Rosie who was working the following morning was a gem! Super friendly and outgoing.

I expected it to be a little nicer for the price. But it was good enough and we had a fine stay. The breakfast food could’ve been better too. I’m not much of a complainer but it just didn’t quite meet my expectations. Overall it’s fine though.

Musty odor throughout, smelled like weed. No linens in room for pull out bed. Big stain on pull out bed mattress. Saw underaged kids checked in without supervision. Breakfast was ok but no black tea available. They had bagels but no cream cheese available. Seems like poor management

This is a very nice hotel. Everything was spotless, the front area has many nice places to sit, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. We had one small problem with the room and they sent a maintenance guy up within a few minutes to fix it. The room itself was very nice - spacious, good bed, nice couch and desk. Overall very good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However we booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch and were given a room with 1 king bed. The only other room they could offer us a room with 2 queen beds and no pullout couch. Only given 2 towels for a family of 5 and when we tried to call the front desk/room service it was a busy signal all weekend.
