Nothing unique. Room smelled like an ashtray on night 2. People smoking in adjoining rooms or in the corridor in between front and back sides of building or possibly outside of our room and the AC unit brought it in? Cigarette buts all over Parking lot near stairwell we used.

Property convenient to mall. Staff ( Shawn and Kim) were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not really adequate compared to the norm for most hotels these days. Rooms smell a little musty. Maybe A/C filters need to be changed.

I was traveling with my son, we were given a room with an adjoining door, which we neither wanted or asked for. We pushed furniture in front of the door, then continued to hear sex noises in the next room all night. It seemed a little unsafe as well.

When I arrived, the front desk clerk was very cheerful and so was everyone throughout my stay. The bed was nice and firm and the sheets were clean. The hotel is conveniently located just off AL 150 and not hard to access. There is a really nice area with a grill for cookouts. There were a few issues with the room. I will start with a tv that only picked up one of the local channels.That would not have been such an issue except in today's technology one should be able to at least use their Youtube, Hulu, FUBO,Netflix,ect but that was not the case. The floor appeared to have caked dirt between the tiles and when I showered, my feet tracked dirt in the tub. The water from the hot disenser was warm at best and the pressure was never strong. The coffee maker had some residual grinds as if the appliance was never quite fully cleaned. There was one instance where the towel rack in the bathroom fell when I lifted a towel. The hotel is not well built as I could easily hear voices and also the traffic. Finally there was evidence of litter but not terrible. They make an effort to clean up as I witnessed. It speaks more about the clients they attract than anything else. If it were another part of town or perhaps a cheap roadside hotel on the outskirts, I could understand. For the price however, I expected better. I would have given the staff a five star rating but the dirty floor and failure to fix the towel rack during time promised were deductions. The frt desk clerk was wonderful.

I believe the overall score of this Hotel is not correct. It should be higher. Everything I read that was negative I never witnessed. I am glad I took the chance on this one. Def worth the price. EVERYONE was so nice and helpful. Front desk clerk this morning even helped my 8 year old carry her bowl of cereal at breakfast to the table just because. The bed was as comfy to me. I like mine a little more stiff, but still has some cushion. I never had issues with my heat and air unit. The ice machine was fixed. Breakfast had cereal, fruit, waffles, oatmeal, grits, coffee, milk, orange juice, sunny D, toast, cinnamon rolls, and more. It wasn’t loud outside our room at all at night. I asked the front desk about all the issues that was posted in the ratings. They explained when negative issues arise they immediately start working to fix them. Some issues take longer than others. I must say I believe everything spoken about has been fixed bc we had a very good experience!

For the money it was good and the staff, as always, were great. I stay here twice a year for five nights each time. People if you're looking for a perfect room go to the Hyatt Regency and see how much it cost you, but if you're on a budget like me, Day's Inn works, not all but most, especially this one.

The front desk clerk was very polite and nice. Check-in was painless. The room was clean, but the furnishings were worn and scuffed, the heater really was not working and was pretty loud. The bed was made up with just a sheet, and I had to go back to the front desk to request a blanket. All in all, the hotel is pretty shabby. The throw pillow had a hole in its fabric.

No ice, lack of pillow choices
The man the checked is in was so friendly and informative! The only I've machine was broken, which was disappointing. The heat had not been on in or room. It was very cold and took almost two hours to get up to 70 degrees. I understand they after trying to save money but we had a reservation, please turn on the heat, even at ,56 to get ready. There were lots of pillows but they all seemed to be the same. I needed something softer. I ended up trying to sleep without one to ease my stuff neck
