DISAPPOINTING - Do not recommend staying here!
Been staying at this hotel for years & not usually one to write bad reviews but I definitely will NOT be returning. Was told the rooms were remodeled but honestly can't tell. The cleanliness of my room was terrible. Bedside table was covered in a sticky substance. Hair in one of the beds. Food on the floor. The shower curtain was mildewed and torn, hanging in the tub which was covered with paint and rust stains.The cleanliness of the room was enough to make me move to another hotel but I wasn't able to find a room on short notice during Mardi Gras so I cleaned my own room & made due. The gap under the door is so wide you can reach under it into the room. ANY noise in the hall is very loud & disruptive. As I entered the hotel, there was a pile of belongings near the door and what appeared to be a homeless individual sleeping on the couch in the lobby. To make this stay even more disappointing, I was unable to access my room multiple times during my stay. Upon check in after a long drive, I had to go back down to the lobby 4 times because my keys wouldn't work to open the door. I finally had to ask for a new room. Every time I left my room, my keys would fail to work. I visited the front desk MULTIPLE times during this visit to have my keys reset. And no, they were not kept near a cell phone. The only positive from this stay was the front desk staff who were very friendly and helpful. .My suggestion is to find somewhere else to stay. This place is not worth your money.

First we were out in a “no smoker” room but it smelled just like cigarettes and was unbearable. The sweet girl at the desk allowed us to swap room but that smelled that a construction zone but better than smoke. We weren’t impressed with how the housekeepers cleaned there was dirt and filth left in bathtub and toilet. We didn’t let them clean the second day we were there bc I had already cleaned up in there and would just let them go in after we left. The breakfast was disgusting. So besides the nice staff, there was major downfalls to hotel.

Stain on bed frame.
It was okay just what one of the bed frames did not ha me a blood stain, or that’s what it looked like. The hotel was quit, the beds were okay not super comfy but not bad.

Hotel was very nice and logistically perfect for my stay. The front desk staff was nice. The manager (male) on duty has lacking customer service skills. He really shouldn’t be interacting with guest.

Great property unacceptable employee behavior
I stay in hotels weekly. I witnessed what was an employee being very rude and disrespectful to an individual in the hotel lobby. I own business and feel obligated to share. It was a middle aged Caucasian male. It was the tone, and attitude that I wouldn’t except from my own employees.

The staff were extra cordial, polite and easy to converse with in conversation. Their willingness to accommodate service was refreshing. Thanks for all to make us comfortable in staying. Worst hotel ever
The rooms had black mold and holes in the floors. The manage was rude and told us we could just leave if we didnt like the conditions. I would never recommend this hotel

Front desk was extremely friends and very easy to check in. The area feels safe with plenty of food options nearby. There was a slight mildew smell in the room, but after running the ac for a while, it became better. I'm assuming its just a gulf coast thing.

The staff were nice. Parking was limited. The elective outlets and many electronic devices were in need of replacement. Phone had no cover defining buttons. Clock elements would not light. Outlets did not work consistently.
